బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఏర్పడిన ఉపరితల ఆవర్తనం, రుతుపవన ద్రోణి ప్రభావంతో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాల్లో శుక్రవారం నుంచి వర్షాలు కొనసాగనున్నాయని వాతావరణ శాఖ వెల్లడించింది. పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉరుములు, మెరుపులతో కూడిన తేలికపాటి నుంచి మోస్తరు వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశముందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర విపత్తు నిర్వహణ సంస్థ (APSDMA) అంచనా ప్రకారం, శ్రీకాకుళం, పార్వతీపురం మన్యం, అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు, డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ కోనసీమ, పశ్చిమ గోదావరి, కృష్ణా, ఎన్టీఆర్ జిల్లాల్లో శుక్రవారం అక్కడక్కడా ఉరుములు, మెరుపులతో కూడిన తేలికపాటి నుంచి మోస్తరు వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉంది. మిగిలిన జిల్లాల్లో కూడా చెదురుమదురు వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశముందని తెలిపింది.
తెలంగాణలోనూ రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా పలుచోట్ల వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశముందని వాతావరణ శాఖ పేర్కొంది. ముఖ్యంగా హైదరాబాద్తో పాటు పలు జిల్లాల్లో మేఘావృత వాతావరణం కొనసాగుతూ తేలికపాటి నుంచి మోస్తరు వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపింది.
వర్షాలతో పాటు గంటకు 30 నుంచి 40 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో ఈదురుగాలులు వీచే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు హెచ్చరించారు. ఉరుములు, మెరుపులు సంభవించే సమయంలో చెట్లు, విద్యుత్ స్తంభాలు, హోర్డింగ్స్ సమీపంలో నిలబడకుండా జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
వర్షాల ప్రభావంతో లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాల్లో నీరు నిలిచే అవకాశం ఉండటంతో ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, అవసరమైతే మాత్రమే ప్రయాణాలు చేయాలని విపత్తు నిర్వహణ అధికారులు సూచించారు. రైతులు కూడా స్థానిక వాతావరణ హెచ్చరికలను అనుసరించి వ్యవసాయ పనులు నిర్వహించాలని సూచించారు.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana from Friday due to the influence of a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal and the active monsoon trough.
According to the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA), Srikakulam, Parvathipuram Manyam, Alluri Sitharama Raju, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, West Godavari, Krishna and NTR districts are likely to receive light to moderate thundershowers on Friday. Scattered rainfall is also expected in the remaining districts.
In Telangana, weather officials have predicted rain at isolated places across the state. Hyderabad and several other districts are expected to witness cloudy skies along with light to moderate showers.
Authorities have also warned of strong surface winds reaching speeds of 30–40 kmph during thunderstorms. People have been advised to avoid standing near trees, electric poles and hoardings during lightning activity.
Residents in low-lying areas have been urged to remain cautious as waterlogging is possible in some places. Farmers have also been advised to monitor local weather updates before carrying out agricultural activities.
