Chief Secretary Reviews Telangana’s Agenda for Southern Zonal Council Meeting Scheduled in Chennai

ఆగస్టు 20న చెన్నై సమీపంలోని మహాబలిపురంలో జరగనున్న దక్షిణ మండల మండలి (Southern Zonal Council) సమావేశానికి తెలంగాణ తరఫున సమగ్ర కార్యాచరణతో హాజరుకావాలని రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి సంజయ్ జాజు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఈ మేరకు శనివారం సచివాలయంలో నిర్వహించిన ప్రాథమిక సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో సమావేశ ఏర్పాట్లు, తెలంగాణ తరఫున ప్రస్తావించాల్సిన అంశాలపై ఆయన విస్తృతంగా చర్చించారు.

సమావేశంలో దక్షిణ మండల మండలిలో చర్చకు వచ్చే అంశాలను ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి సమీక్షించారు. తెలంగాణకు సంబంధించిన అన్ని అజెండా అంశాలను సంబంధిత శాఖలు సమగ్రంగా పరిశీలించి నివేదికలు సిద్ధం చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. అలాగే రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించిన అంతర్రాష్ట్ర, ప్రాంతీయ ప్రాధాన్య అంశాలను గుర్తించి వాటిని మండలి సమావేశంలో ప్రస్తావించేలా ప్రణాళిక శాఖ చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని సూచించారు.

పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న అంశాల పరిష్కారాన్ని వేగవంతం చేసి, రెండు రోజుల్లోగా పూర్తి వివరాలతో నివేదికలు సమర్పించాలని అన్ని శాఖలకు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ ప్రతిపాదనలు, సిఫారసులు, అజెండాను సమన్వయంతో ఖరారు చేసి అనంతరం ముఖ్యమంత్రి పరిశీలనకు పంపాలని ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి సూచించారు.

ఈ సమావేశంలో వికాస్ రాజ్, సబ్యసాచి ఘోష్, గౌరవ్ ఉప్పల్, ఈ. శ్రీధర్, క్రిస్టినా జోంగ్తు తదితర ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొని దక్షిణ మండల మండలి సమావేశానికి సంబంధించి జరుగుతున్న సన్నాహక పనులను ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శికి వివరించారు.

Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju chaired a preliminary review meeting at the Secretariat on Saturday to assess the state’s preparations for the Southern Zonal Council Meeting, scheduled to be held on August 20 at Mahabalipuram, Chennai.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary reviewed the agenda items proposed for discussion and directed all departments to conduct a comprehensive examination of issues concerning Telangana. He instructed the Planning Department to identify significant inter-state and regional issues that the state should raise during the Council meeting.

He also directed all departments to expedite the resolution of pending matters and submit detailed reports within the next two days. Emphasising coordinated planning, Sanjay Jaju asked officials to finalise Telangana’s agenda, recommendations, and submissions before placing them before the Chief Minister for further guidance.

Senior officials Vikas Raj, Sabyasachi Ghosh, Gaurav Uppal, E. Sridhar, and Christina Zongthu, along with officials from the concerned departments, attended the meeting and briefed the Chief Secretary on the preparations and agenda for the upcoming Southern Zonal Council Meeting.
