నిజామాబాద్ జిల్లాలోని ప్రభుత్వ జనరల్ ఆసుపత్రిని అత్యాధునిక వైద్య సేవలు అందించే రిఫరల్ ఆసుపత్రిగా అభివృద్ధి చేయనున్నట్లు రాష్ట్ర వైద్య, ఆరోగ్య శాఖ మంత్రి దామోదర రాజనర్సింహ ప్రకటించారు. ఈ మేరకు జిల్లా వైద్య మౌలిక సదుపాయాలపై స్థానిక ఎమ్మెల్యేలతో కలిసి మంత్రి సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా దశలవారీగా కార్డియాలజీ, న్యూరాలజీ, నెఫ్రాలజీ, యూరాలజీ తదితర సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ సేవలను ప్రారంభించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. అలాగే ఆధునిక ఎంఆర్ఐ (MRI) స్కానింగ్ సౌకర్యాన్ని కూడా త్వరలో ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురానున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
ప్రత్యేక వైద్యుల నియామకం, ఆధునిక నిర్ధారణ పరికరాలు, మెరుగైన వైద్య మౌలిక వసతులు, నాణ్యమైన రోగి సేవల ద్వారా జిల్లాలోనే అత్యున్నత వైద్య సేవలను అందించడం ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని మంత్రి తెలిపారు.
ప్రస్తుతం హైదరాబాద్ వంటి నగరాలకు వెళ్లాల్సిన అనేక చికిత్సలు భవిష్యత్తులో నిజామాబాద్ ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రిలోనే అందుబాటులోకి రావడం వల్ల జిల్లా ప్రజలతో పాటు పరిసర ప్రాంతాల ప్రజలకు కూడా గణనీయమైన ప్రయోజనం కలగనుంది.
తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రులను ఆధునికీకరించి ప్రజలకు నాణ్యమైన వైద్య సేవలు అందించేందుకు కట్టుబడి ఉందని మంత్రి స్పష్టం చేశారు.

The Telangana Government has announced plans to transform the Nizamabad Government General Hospital into a full-fledged Referral Hospital, bringing advanced healthcare services closer to the people of the district.
During a review meeting on the district’s healthcare infrastructure with Nizamabad MLAs, Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha said that super speciality departments, including Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology and Urology, will be introduced in phases.
The minister also announced that an advanced MRI facility will soon become operational, strengthening diagnostic capabilities at the hospital.
According to the government, the initiative aims to improve public healthcare by providing specialist doctors, modern medical equipment, advanced diagnostic services and quality patient care within the district.
The upgrade is expected to reduce the need for patients to travel to Hyderabad and other major cities for specialised treatment, benefiting residents of Nizamabad and neighbouring districts.
The Telangana Government reiterated its commitment to strengthening public hospitals across the state with modern infrastructure and expanded speciality healthcare services.
