ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి నాగర్కర్నూల్ జిల్లాలోని ఉరుకొండపేట శ్రీ పబ్బతి ఆంజనేయ స్వామి ఆలయాన్ని ఆదివారం దర్శించుకుని ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. అనంతరం ఆలయ అభివృద్ధి కోసం ప్రభుత్వం మంజూరు చేసిన రూ.10 కోట్ల విలువైన అభివృద్ధి పనులకు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి రాక సందర్భంగా ఉరుకొండపేట గ్రామంలో పండుగ వాతావరణం నెలకొంది. స్థానిక ప్రజలు, పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు, గ్రామ పెద్దలు ఆయనకు ఘన స్వాగతం పలికారు. రాజకీయ జీవితంలో 20 ఏళ్ల క్రితం జెడ్పీటీసీగా ఎన్నికైన సమయంలో ఏర్పడిన అనుబంధాన్ని గుర్తు చేసుకుంటూ ముఖ్యమంత్రి గ్రామ ప్రజలతో ఆత్మీయంగా మమేకమయ్యారు.
ఆలయ ప్రాంగణంలో నిర్వహించిన సమావేశంలో పాత సహచరులను ఒక్కొక్కరిని పలకరిస్తూ వారి యోగక్షేమాలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. కొందరు రెండు దశాబ్దాల క్రితం దిగిన ఫొటోలను చూపిస్తూ పాత జ్ఞాపకాలను గుర్తుచేయగా, ముఖ్యమంత్రి కూడా ఆనాటి అనుభవాలను పంచుకున్నారు.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited the Sri Pabbathi Anjaneya Swamy Temple at Urkondapeta in Nagarkurnool district on Sunday and offered special prayers. He also laid the foundation stone for ₹10 crore worth of temple development works sanctioned by the Telangana Government.
The Chief Minister received a warm welcome from local residents, party workers and village elders as he arrived in Urkondapeta. During the visit, he recalled his early political journey when he was elected as a ZPTC member nearly two decades ago and interacted warmly with people who had been associated with him during that period.
At an interaction held in the temple premises, Revanth Reddy greeted his former colleagues, enquired about their well-being and reminisced about his early political experiences. Several attendees showed photographs taken around 20 years ago, prompting discussions on memorable moments from that time.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Vakiti Srihari, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other public representatives attended the programme.
