మేడ్చల్-మల్కాజిగిరి జిల్లా మూడు చింతలపల్లి మున్సిపల్ పరిధిలో రైతులకు సబ్సిడీపై పచ్చిరొట్టె విత్తనాలను మంగళవారం పంపిణీ చేశారు. వ్యవసాయ శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో రైతులకు జనము మరియు జీలుగా విత్తనాలను అందజేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా వ్యవసాయ అధికారులు మాట్లాడుతూ రైతులు పచ్చిరొట్టె విత్తనాలను సద్వినియోగం చేసుకొని భూమి సారాన్ని పెంచుకోవాలని సూచించారు. ప్రభుత్వం 50 శాతం సబ్సిడీపై ఈ విత్తనాలను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకువచ్చిందని తెలిపారు.
జనము విత్తనాల 40 కేజీల బస్తా రూ.3110కు, జీలుగా విత్తనాల 30 కేజీల బస్తా రూ.2452కు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయని అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. ఈ అవకాశాన్ని రైతులు వినియోగించుకొని తమ వ్యవసాయ భూములను సారవంతంగా మార్చుకోవాలని కోరారు.
శామీర్పేట మండల రైతులకు కూడా పచ్చిరొట్టె విత్తనాలు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయని వ్యవసాయ అధికారి రమేష్ తెలిపారు. కార్యక్రమంలో శామీర్పేట రైతు సేవ సహకార సంఘం చైర్మన్ మధుకర్ రెడ్డి, మేడ్చల్ మార్కెట్ కమిటీ చైర్మన్ నర్సింలు యాదవ్, మూడు చింతలపల్లి మున్సిపల్ చైర్మన్ జాం రవి, కౌన్సిలర్లు, వ్యవసాయ అధికారులు మరియు రైతులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Subsidised green manure seeds were distributed to farmers in Mooduchinthalapally municipal area of Medchal-Malkajgiri district on Tuesday as part of an agricultural support initiative.
Agriculture department officials distributed Janumu and Jeeluga green manure seeds to farmers and encouraged them to utilise the scheme to improve soil fertility and agricultural productivity.
Officials stated that the seeds are being provided under a 50 percent subsidy scheme. Farmers were advised to make use of the opportunity to enrich soil quality naturally and reduce dependency on chemical fertilisers.
According to agriculture officials, a 40-kilogram bag of Janumu seeds is available at Rs 3,110, while a 30-kilogram bag of Jeeluga seeds is being supplied at Rs 2,452 under the subsidy programme.
Agriculture Officer Ramesh said the green manure seeds are also available for farmers in Shamirpet mandal. Several local leaders, agriculture department staff, municipal representatives and farmers participated in the programme.
The initiative is aimed at promoting sustainable farming practices and supporting farmers in improving long-term soil health across the region.
