A. Revanth Reddy తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమంలో వర్చువల్ విధానంలో 8,000 స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాల గ్రామ సంస్థ మహిళా గ్రామ సంఘ భవనాల నిర్మాణ పనులకు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. అదే కార్యక్రమంలో తెలంగాణ మహిళల కోసం రూపొందించిన కొత్త చీర డిజైన్ను కూడా ప్రారంభించారు.
ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం, రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా మహిళా సంఘాల కార్యకలాపాలకు స్థిర వేదిక కల్పించే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ భవనాల నిర్మాణం చేపడుతున్నారు. గ్రామీణ మహిళల ఆర్థిక, సామాజిక సాధికారతను బలోపేతం చేయడంలో ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులు కీలకంగా మారనున్నాయని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ మహిళా సంఘాల అభివృద్ధికి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోందన్నారు. తెలంగాణలో సుమారు ఒక కోటి మహిళలకు ఉపయోగపడే విధంగా కొత్త చీర డిజైన్ను రూపొందించినట్లు తెలిపారు.
మహిళా సంఘాల ద్వారా స్వయం ఉపాధి, గ్రామీణ ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధి, సామాజిక భాగస్వామ్యం మరింత పెరుగుతుందని ప్రభుత్వం ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. రాష్ట్రంలోని పలు జిల్లాల మహిళా సంఘ ప్రతినిధులు ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని వర్చువల్గా వీక్షించారు.

A. Revanth Reddy virtually laid the foundation stone for the construction of 8,000 Self Help Group (SHG) Village Organization Mahila Grama Sangham buildings during an official programme held at the Telangana State Secretariat in Hyderabad.
During the same event, the Chief Minister also launched a new saree design intended for nearly one crore women across Telangana. The initiative is aimed at strengthening women’s self-help groups and promoting rural women empowerment in the state.
According to officials, the proposed buildings will provide dedicated infrastructure support for SHG-related activities across villages. The government believes the initiative will help improve organisational coordination, economic participation, and social empowerment among women in rural Telangana.
Addressing the gathering, Revanth Reddy said the state government is committed to supporting women-led community organisations and welfare programmes. He added that the newly launched saree design was introduced as part of broader efforts to support women beneficiaries across the state.
Representatives from various SHGs and women’s organisations from different districts reportedly participated in the programme through virtual connectivity.
