శనివారం మేడ్చల్ జిల్లా మునీరాబాద్లో నిర్వహించిన పార్టీ ఆవిర్భావ సభలో కవిత ఈ ప్రకటన చేశారు. సభ ప్రారంభానికి ముందు అమరవీరుల స్థూపం, ప్రొఫెసర్ జయశంకర్ విగ్రహం, బతుకమ్మతో ఉన్న తెలంగాణ తల్లి విగ్రహానికి నివాళులు అర్పించారు. అనంతరం పార్టీ జెండాను కూడా ఆవిష్కరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడుతూ టీఆర్ఎస్ అంటే తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సేన అని వివరించారు. ఇది తన జీవితంలో మర్చిపోలేని రోజని చెప్పారు. తెలంగాణ కోసం జరిగిన ఉద్యమంలో ఎంతో మంది ప్రాణాలు అర్పించారని, బతుకమ్మ ఉద్యమానికి కొత్త ఊపు తీసుకువచ్చిందని తెలిపారు.
తెలంగాణ ఏర్పడి 12 సంవత్సరాలు గడిచినా ప్రజల కలలు పూర్తిగా నెరవేరలేదని కవిత విమర్శించారు. కేసీఆర్ నేతృత్వంలోని తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమ రథం దారితప్పిందని అన్నారు. తెలంగాణ వస్తే బానిస సంకెళ్లు పోతాయని భావించామని, కానీ వ్యక్తిగత స్వేచ్ఛ కూడా తగ్గిపోయిందని ఆరోపించారు.
ఎవరి ఫోన్ ఎవరు వింటున్నారో తెలియని భయం ప్రజల్లో ఉందని, తెలంగాణను వ్యతిరేకించిన వారికి ఎమ్మెల్యే టికెట్లు ఇచ్చారని విమర్శించారు. పార్టీ కోసం నిలిచిన వారిని మాత్రం పక్కన పెట్టారని చెప్పారు.
అధికారం వచ్చిన తర్వాత కేసీఆర్ మారిపోయారని, “ఆయన మన కేసీఆర్ కాదు.. మారిన కేసీఆర్” అంటూ తీవ్ర వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. రాష్ట్రాన్ని కాపాడేందుకు నిజమైన సైన్యం అవసరమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులో అవినీతి జరిగిందని ప్రశ్నించినందుకే తనను పార్టీ నుంచి తొలగించారని ఆరోపించారు. అవినీతి చేసిన వారిని మాత్రం పక్కన చేర్చుకున్నారని అన్నారు.
కవిత కొత్త పార్టీ ప్రకటన తెలంగాణ రాజకీయాల్లో కొత్త సమీకరణాలకు దారితీసే అవకాశంగా రాజకీయ వర్గాలు విశ్లేషిస్తున్నాయి.

A major political development has taken place in Telangana as former MLC Kavitha, daughter of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, officially announced the launch of her new political party named Telangana Rashtra Sena (TRS).
Kavitha made the announcement during the party formation meeting held at Munirabad in Medchal district on Saturday. Before addressing the gathering, she paid tribute to the Telangana martyrs memorial, Professor Jayashankar statue, and the Telangana Thalli statue with Bathukamma.
She also unveiled the party flag and officially declared that TRS stands for Telangana Rashtra Sena. Calling it one of the most unforgettable days of her life, Kavitha said many people sacrificed their lives for Telangana statehood and that Bathukamma played a major role in strengthening the movement.
She said that even after 12 years of Telangana formation, the dreams of the people remain unfulfilled. Kavitha stated that the Telangana movement led by KCR had lost its original direction and purpose.
She said people expected freedom after Telangana state formation, but instead many are living with fear and uncertainty. She alleged that even phone surveillance fears exist among the public.
Kavitha criticised that leaders who once opposed Telangana were given MLA seats, while loyal party workers who stood with the movement were ignored.
She made strong remarks against KCR, saying power changed him and that “he is no longer our KCR, he is a changed KCR.”
She also alleged that she was removed from the party for questioning corruption in the Kaleshwaram project, while those involved in corruption were protected.
Political observers believe Kavitha’s new party could create fresh political equations in Telangana politics ahead of future elections.
