తన వ్యాఖ్యల వల్ల తమన్నాకు బాధ కలిగించి ఉంటే ఆమె కాళ్లు పట్టుకుని అయినా క్షమాపణ చెప్పేందుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నానని ఆయన అన్నారు. “నేను 71 ఏళ్ల మనిషిని. తప్పు ఉద్దేశంతో కాదు. ఆమెకు బాధ కలిగితే క్షమాపణ చెప్పడంలో తప్పు లేదు” అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలపై తమన్నా అభిమానులు తీవ్రంగా స్పందిస్తున్నారు. ఒక మహిళ అందాన్ని రంగుతో పోల్చడం సరైంది కాదని సోషల్ మీడియాలో విమర్శలు వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.

Actor Annu Kapoor has once again come under social media criticism over his past remark about actress Tamannaah Bhatia, where he described her as having a “dudhiya badan” (milky body). The veteran actor has now clarified his statement and said he is ready to apologise if Tamannaah felt hurt.
Kapoor said the comment was made while appreciating Tamannaah’s performance in the song “Aaj Ki Raat” and was never intended to be vulgar or disrespectful. He explained that he was only praising her dance and screen presence.
In a recent interview, he stated that the controversy became bigger because he used Hindi words. According to him, if he had used the English phrase “milky body,” the reaction may have been different.
He said appreciating someone’s beauty should not automatically be seen as objectification. Kapoor added that noticing someone’s appearance and having wrong intentions are two completely different things.
The actor further said that if Tamannaah personally felt bad about his words, he would openly apologise and was even ready to touch her feet as a gesture of respect.
He said there was no wrong intention behind his statement and that his words were misunderstood in public discussion.
Tamannaah’s fans, however, strongly criticised the comment and argued that comparing a woman’s beauty to skin tone was inappropriate. Many users on social media called the remark insensitive and outdated.
