తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర రోడ్డు రవాణా సంస్థ (టీజీఎస్ఆర్టీసీ) కార్మికుల సమ్మె విరమణకు ప్రభుత్వం గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇచ్చింది. ఆర్టీసీ జేఏసీ నేతలతో మంత్రుల బృందం నిర్వహించిన సుదీర్ఘ చర్చలు సఫలం కావడంతో సమ్మెను అధికారికంగా విరమిస్తున్నట్లు కార్మిక సంఘాలు ప్రకటించాయి. దీంతో ఈరోజు నుంచి ఆర్టీసీ బస్సు సర్వీసులు యథావిధిగా నడవనున్నాయి.
ప్రభుత్వంలో ఆర్టీసీ విలీనం, 11 శాతం పీఆర్సీ అమలు, గుర్తింపు సంఘాల ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించడం వంటి కీలక డిమాండ్లపై ప్రభుత్వం సానుకూల నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. మిగతా సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి కూడా ఆర్టీసీ యాజమాన్యం అంగీకారం తెలిపింది.
డిప్యూటీ సీఎం భట్టి విక్రమార్క మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ, “ఆర్టీసీ మన సంస్థ. అందులోని కుటుంబాలు మనవి. కార్మికుల కుటుంబాలు సంతోషంగా ఉండాలి. ఆర్టీసీలో గుర్తింపు సంఘాలకు ఎన్నికలు జరిపేందుకు అంగీకరించాం. ప్రభుత్వంలో ఆర్టీసీ విలీనం అంశంపై చర్చించాము” అని తెలిపారు.
ఆర్టీసీ విలీన ప్రక్రియకు సంబంధించి అధికారులు, కార్మిక సంఘాల నాయకులతో ప్రత్యేక కమిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన వెల్లడించారు. కార్మికుల సమస్యలపై ప్రభుత్వం సుదీర్ఘంగా చర్చించి పరిష్కార దిశగా అడుగులు వేస్తోందన్నారు.
ఆర్టీసీ జేఏసీ నేతలు మాట్లాడుతూ, ఎప్పటి నుంచో పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న సమస్యలపై ప్రభుత్వం స్పందించడం సంతోషకరమని తెలిపారు. ముఖ్యంగా సంఘాల ఎన్నికలు జరిపించడం గొప్ప ముందడుగుగా అభివర్ణించారు.
సమ్మెలో పాల్గొన్న కార్మికులపై నమోదైన కేసులను ఎత్తివేయాలని వారు ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కోరారు. అన్ని వర్గాల కార్మికులు ధర్నాలను విరమించి వెంటనే విధుల్లో చేరి బస్సులు నడపాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
ప్రభుత్వంలో ఆర్టీసీ విలీనం అంశంపై ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్న కమిటీలో కార్మికులకు ప్రాతినిధ్యం కల్పించినందుకు జేఏసీ తరఫున ప్రభుత్వానికి ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు. అలాగే పీఆర్సీ ప్రకటించినందుకు ప్రభుత్వం పట్ల రుణపడి ఉంటామని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ పరిణామంతో తెలంగాణ వ్యాప్తంగా ప్రయాణికులకు పెద్ద ఊరట లభించింది. సమ్మె కారణంగా ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొన్న ప్రజలు సాధారణ రవాణా సేవలు పునరుద్ధరించడంతో ఉపశమనం పొందుతున్నారు.

The strike by Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) employees has officially been called off after successful discussions between the RTC Joint Action Committee (JAC) leaders and a ministerial team of the state government. With the breakthrough in talks, RTC services are set to operate normally from today across Telangana.
The government agreed to several key demands raised by the RTC employees, including the merger of RTC into the government, implementation of 11 percent PRC, and conducting recognition union elections. The RTC management also assured resolution of the remaining employee-related issues.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka addressed the media after the discussions and said RTC belongs to the people and the families of RTC workers are part of the larger public family. He stated that the government wants workers’ families to remain happy and secure.
He confirmed that the government has agreed to conduct recognition union elections in RTC and also discussed the larger issue of RTC merger into the government structure.
Bhatti Vikramarka further announced that a special committee would be formed with officials and labour union leaders to take forward the RTC merger process and resolve long-pending employee issues through structured discussions.
RTC JAC leaders said the government responding to long-pending issues was a positive development. They described the decision to hold union elections as a major step forward for employee rights and representation.
They also demanded withdrawal of cases filed against workers who participated in the strike and appealed to all employees to withdraw protests, resume duties, and ensure smooth bus operations from today.
The JAC leaders thanked the government for giving employee representatives a place in the committee on RTC merger and said they were grateful for the announcement of PRC benefits.
With the strike ending, passengers across Telangana are expected to get major relief as normal bus services resume after disruption caused by the protest.
