హత్రాస్ జంక్షన్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలోని బర్మన్ గ్రామానికి చెందిన యశ్పాల్ భార్య పూజ (30) మంగళవారం మధ్యాహ్నం తన అత్తగారింటి నుంచి అకస్మాత్తుగా బయటకు వెళ్లింది. అనంతరం లుట్సాన్ రోడ్డులో ఉన్న మొబైల్ టవర్ను వేగంగా ఎక్కి పైభాగంలో కూర్చుంది.
అంత ఎత్తులో మహిళను చూసిన స్థానికులు ఒక్కసారిగా షాక్కు గురయ్యారు. కొద్దిసేపటికే పూజ స్వయంగా తన తల్లిదండ్రులకు ఫోన్ చేసి తాను టవర్ ఎక్కినట్లు తెలియజేయడంతో ఘటన వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది.
సమాచారం అందుకున్న వెంటనే పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ ఇన్చార్జి విపిన్ చౌదరి, అగ్నిమాపక సిబ్బంది సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకున్నారు. పూజ తండ్రి రాజేంద్రతో పాటు కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఆమెను కిందకు దిగమని పలుమార్లు వేడుకున్నా ఆమె అంగీకరించలేదు.
పరిస్థితి విషమిస్తుండటంతో, ఒకవేళ పై నుంచి దూకితే ప్రమాదం జరగకుండా అగ్నిమాపక సిబ్బంది టవర్ కింద జంపింగ్ ఫ్లోర్ను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. పోలీసులు ప్రాథమిక విచారణలో పూజకు, ఆమె ప్రియుడు జైప్రకాష్కు మధ్య గొడవ జరిగినట్లు గుర్తించారు.
దీంతో పోలీసులు జైప్రకాష్ను సంఘటనా స్థలానికి తీసుకువచ్చారు. అతడిని చూడగానే పూజ శాంతించింది. అతనితో ఫోన్లో మాట్లాడిన తర్వాత దాదాపు మూడు గంటల ఉత్కంఠకు తెరదించుతూ ఆమె సురక్షితంగా కిందకు దిగింది.
పూజకు రెండేళ్ల క్రితమే వివాహం జరిగిందని, అయితే జైప్రకాష్తో చాలా కాలంగా ప్రేమలో ఉందని ఆమె తండ్రి తెలిపారు. ప్రస్తుతం పూజ, కుటుంబ సభ్యులు, ప్రియుడిని పోలీసులు విచారిస్తున్నారు.

A married woman created high drama in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district after climbing a mobile tower for her lover, leading to a tense three-hour rescue operation on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place in Barman village under Hathras Junction Police Station limits. Pooja (30), wife of Yashpal, reportedly left her in-laws’ house suddenly and reached Lutsan Road, where she climbed a mobile tower and sat at the top.
Locals were shocked to see the woman sitting at such a dangerous height. The matter came to light after Pooja herself called her parents and informed them that she had climbed the tower.
After receiving information, Station In-Charge Vipin Chaudhary and fire department personnel rushed to the spot. Pooja’s father Rajendra and other family members repeatedly requested her to come down, but she refused.
As the situation became serious, fire personnel arranged a jumping safety floor below the tower to prevent any major accident if she attempted to jump.
During preliminary police inquiry, officials found that Pooja had a dispute with her lover Jaiprakash. Police then traced him and brought him to the spot.
Seeing her lover, Pooja calmed down. After speaking with him over the phone, she finally agreed to come down safely, ending nearly three hours of tension.
Police said Pooja got married two years ago, but she had reportedly been in a relationship with Jaiprakash for a long time. Officials are currently questioning Pooja, her family members, and the lover.
Police suspect that differences in the love affair triggered the unusual protest. The incident has now become a major talking point in the area.
