తెలంగాణలో కొత్త జాతీయ క్రిమినల్ చట్టాల అమలు తీరుపై నేషనల్ క్రైమ్ రికార్డ్స్ బ్యూరో (ఎన్సీఆర్బీ) డైరెక్టర్ అమిత్ గార్గ్ సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. ఈ మేరకు ఆయన డీజీపీ కార్యాలయాన్ని సందర్శించి, చట్టాల అమలుకు సంబంధించిన వివిధ అంశాలపై అధికారులతో చర్చించారు.
కొత్త క్రిమినల్ చట్టాల అమలుకు అనుసంధానంగా పనిచేస్తున్న ఐసీజేఎస్, న్యాయ శ్రుతి, న్యాయ సంహిత తదితర పోర్టళ్ల పనితీరును కూడా సమీక్షించారు. వివిధ వ్యవస్థల మధ్య సమన్వయం, అనుసంధానంలో ఎదురవుతున్న సమస్యలపై ప్రధానంగా చర్చ జరిగినట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఈ ప్రక్రియలో న్యాయవ్యవస్థ, జైళ్లు, ప్రాసిక్యూషన్, ఫోరెన్సిక్ సంస్థలు వంటి కీలక భాగస్వాముల పాత్రపై కూడా సమీక్ష జరిగింది. అవసరమైన బడ్జెట్, ఢిల్లీ నుంచి అందాల్సిన సాంకేతిక మరియు ఇతర సహకారంపై అధికారులు చర్చించారు.
తెలంగాణను అధునాతన సీసీటీఎన్ఎస్ 2.0 వ్యవస్థకు మార్పు చేసే అంశం కూడా సమావేశంలో చర్చకు వచ్చింది. కొత్త వ్యవస్థను సమర్థంగా అమలు చేసేందుకు అవసరమైన మెరుగుదలలు, సమన్వయ చర్యలపై అధికారులు దృష్టి సారించారు.
ప్రస్తుతం ర్యాంకింగ్స్లో తెలంగాణ 34వ స్థానంలో ఉందని, రానున్న రోజుల్లో రాష్ట్రం మరింత మెరుగైన ర్యాంకింగ్ సాధిస్తుందని డీజీపీ ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అవసరమైన మార్పులు, మెరుగుదలలు సాధించేలా సంబంధిత అధికారులతో తాను నిరంతరం సమీక్షిస్తూ ముందుకు సాగుతున్నట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు.

National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) Director Amit Garg visited the Director General of Police’s office to review the implementation of the new national criminal laws in Telangana and the functioning of associated portals.
The review covered platforms including ICJS, Nyaya Shruti and Nyaya Samhita, with discussions focusing on various aspects of implementation and integration.
Officials discussed integration-related issues and the role of key stakeholders involved in the criminal justice system, including the judiciary, prisons, prosecution and forensic agencies.
The meeting also examined budgetary requirements and the support required from Delhi to facilitate the implementation process in Telangana.
Another important issue discussed was Telangana’s transition to the advanced CCTNS 2.0 system. The transition is expected to involve improvements in system integration and coordination among the agencies involved in the criminal justice process.
The DGP expressed hope that Telangana would improve upon its present 34th ranking and move towards better rankings in the days ahead. He said he was following up with the officers concerned to ensure that the required improvements are achieved.
