ACB Unearths Assets Worth Over ₹150 Crore in DSP Bhim Reddy Disproportionate Assets Case

తెలంగాణలో డీఎస్పీ సంకిరెడ్డి భీమ్రెడ్డిపై నమోదైన అక్రమాస్తుల కేసు దర్యాప్తులో అవినీతి నిరోధక శాఖ (ఏసీబీ) కీలక పురోగతి సాధించింది. హైదరాబాద్తో పాటు పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో మొత్తం 16 ప్రాంతాల్లో ఏకకాలంలో సోదాలు నిర్వహించి భారీ మొత్తంలో స్థిర, చర ఆస్తులను గుర్తించినట్లు అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు.
ఏసీబీ ప్రాథమిక సమాచారం ప్రకారం, భీమ్రెడ్డి తన తెలిసిన ఆదాయ వనరులకు మించి భారీ ఆస్తులను కూడబెట్టినట్లు ఆరోపణలు ఉన్నాయి. సోదాల్లో విల్లాలు, అపార్ట్మెంట్ ఫ్లాట్లు, వాణిజ్య భవనాల్లో వాటాలు, వ్యవసాయ భూములు, నగదు, బంగారం, వెండి వస్తువులు, బ్యాంకు డిపాజిట్లు మరియు ఇతర పెట్టుబడులకు సంబంధించిన ఆధారాలు లభించినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. మార్కెట్ విలువ ప్రకారం ఈ ఆస్తుల మొత్తం విలువ రూ.150 కోట్లకు పైగా ఉంటుందని ఏసీబీ అంచనా వేసింది.
ఏసీబీ అధికారులు అవినీతి నిరోధక చట్టంలోని సంబంధిత సెక్షన్ల కింద కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తును కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్న పత్రాలు, ఆర్థిక లావాదేవీలు, బినామీ ఆస్తులపై కూడా విచారణ కొనసాగుతోందని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం డీఎస్పీ భీమ్రెడ్డిని అరెస్టు చేయలేదని ఏసీబీ స్పష్టం చేసింది.
ఈ కేసు తెలంగాణలో ప్రభుత్వ అధికారుల అక్రమాస్తులపై జరుగుతున్న దర్యాప్తుల్లో అత్యంత కీలకమైన కేసులలో ఒకటిగా మారింది. విచారణ పూర్తయ్యాక మరిన్ని వివరాలను వెల్లడించే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has intensified its investigation into the disproportionate assets case against DSP Sankireddy Bhim Reddy. Simultaneous searches were conducted at 16 locations linked to the officer across Hyderabad and other places in Telangana.
According to the ACB, the searches uncovered extensive movable and immovable assets allegedly acquired beyond the officer’s known sources of income. Officials reported recovering villas, apartments, commercial property interests, agricultural land, cash, gold, silver articles, bank deposits, and other investments. The agency estimates the market value of the identified assets to be more than ₹150 crore.
A disproportionate assets case has been registered under the relevant provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Investigators are examining financial records, property documents, and suspected benami transactions as part of the ongoing probe. The ACB has clarified that DSP Bhim Reddy has not been arrested at this stage.
The case is being closely watched as one of the major anti-corruption investigations involving a senior police officer in Telangana. Further action will depend on the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
