ఊరేగింపు చార్మినార్ వద్దకు చేరుకున్న సమయంలో సీపీ వీసీ సజ్జనార్ ముస్లిం మత పెద్దలను పూలమాలలతో సత్కరించి, వారికి మిలాద్ ఉన్ నబీ శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. ఊరేగింపును ప్రశాంతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు సహకరించినందుకు వారిని అభినందించి, ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా సీపీ వీసీ సజ్జనార్ మాట్లాడుతూ హైదరాబాద్ నగరం ఎల్లప్పుడూ శాంతిభద్రతలు, పరమత సహనం, సోదరభావానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలుస్తోందన్నారు. నగరానికి ప్రత్యేక గుర్తింపుగా ఉన్న గంగా-జమునా తెహజీబ్ సంస్కృతికి ఇలాంటి వేడుకలు నిదర్శనమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
నగరంలో ఏ పండుగ జరిగినా ప్రజలు పోలీసు శాఖకు ఎంతో బాధ్యతాయుతంగా సహకరిస్తున్నారని సజ్జనార్ తెలిపారు. మిలాద్ ఉన్ నబీ వేడుకల సందర్భంగా సుమారు 2,000 మంది పోలీసు సిబ్బందితో విస్తృత బందోబస్తు ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు వివరించారు.
ఊరేగింపు మార్గంలో ఎక్కడా ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్యలు తలెత్తకుండా ముందస్తుగా ట్రాఫిక్ మళ్లింపులు చేపట్టినట్లు సీపీ తెలిపారు. సాధారణ ప్రజలు, ఇతర వాహనదారులకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు కలగకుండా అవసరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకున్నామని వెల్లడించారు.
హైదరాబాద్ నగర ఘన సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాలను కాపాడుతూ మిలాద్ ఉన్ నబీ పండుగను, ఊరేగింపును ప్రశాంతంగా విజయవంతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు నిర్వాహకులు, యువత, ప్రజలు పోలీసులకు మరింత సహకారం అందించాలని సీపీ వీసీ సజ్జనార్ పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

The Milad-un-Nabi procession held around Hyderabad’s Charminar passed off peacefully amid elaborate security arrangements by the city police.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, along with senior police officials, inspected the security arrangements at Charminar and monitored the situation on the ground during the procession.
When the procession reached Charminar, Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar warmly felicitated Muslim religious leaders with garlands and conveyed Milad-un-Nabi greetings. He thanked them for their cooperation in ensuring that the procession was conducted peacefully.
Speaking on the occasion, V.C. Sajjanar said Hyderabad has always stood as a symbol of peace, communal harmony and brotherhood. He said the city’s distinctive Ganga-Jamuna Tehzeeb is reflected in such celebrations and traditions.
The Commissioner said people across Hyderabad have consistently extended responsible cooperation to the police during festivals. He stated that approximately 2,000 police personnel were deployed as part of the security arrangements for the Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.
Sajjanar said advance traffic diversions were implemented along the procession route to prevent traffic problems and ensure that the general public and other road users did not face inconvenience.
The Commissioner appealed to organisers, youth and citizens to continue supporting the police so that the festival and procession could be conducted peacefully while preserving Hyderabad’s rich cultural traditions and spirit of communal harmony.
