Telangana Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy has strongly rejected allegations made by BRS working president KT Rama Rao regarding paddy procurement operations in the state, intensifying the ongoing political debate over farmer-related issues.

Responding to KTR’s criticism, Uttam Kumar Reddy said the Telangana government was conducting procurement operations efficiently and ensuring smooth transportation and dispatch of paddy stocks from procurement centres. He denied allegations of delays and mismanagement in truck dispatch operations.
