తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సమాచార హక్కు కమిషన్ (ఆర్టీఐ కమిషన్) ప్రధాన కమిషనర్, కమిషనర్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డిని జూబ్లీహిల్స్ నివాసంలో మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిశారు. కమిషన్లో బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టి ఏడాది పూర్తైన సందర్భంగా ఈ సమావేశం జరిగింది.
ఈ సందర్భంగా రాష్ట్ర సమాచార హక్కు కమిషన్ కార్యకలాపాలు, గత ఏడాది కాలంలో చేపట్టిన కార్యక్రమాలు, ప్రజలకు సమాచార హక్కు చట్టం ద్వారా అందిస్తున్న సేవల గురించి ముఖ్యమంత్రికి వివరించారు.
సమాచార హక్కు చట్టం అమలులో పారదర్శకత, జవాబుదారీతనం, ప్రజలకు సమాచార ప్రాప్తి మెరుగుపర్చేందుకు కమిషన్ చేపడుతున్న చర్యలను కూడా వారు వివరించినట్లు తెలిసింది.
ముఖ్యమంత్రిని కలిసిన వారిలో రాష్ట్ర సమాచార హక్కు ప్రధాన కమిషనర్ జి. చంద్రశేఖర్ రెడ్డి, కమిషనర్లు పీవీ శ్రీనివాస్, బోరెడ్డి అయోధ్య రెడ్డి, దేశాల భూపాల్ ఉన్నారు.

The Chief Information Commissioner and Commissioners of the Telangana State Information Commission paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the Commission completing one year since assuming office. During the interaction, the officials briefed the Chief Minister on the activities undertaken by the Telangana Information Commission and its functioning under the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
The Commission members reportedly explained various initiatives aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and citizens’ access to information through the RTI framework. They also shared details regarding the Commission’s performance and key activities carried out over the past year.
Those who met the Chief Minister included Telangana State Chief Information Commissioner G. Chandrasekhar Reddy and Information Commissioners P.V. Srinivas, Boreddy Ayodhya Reddy, and Deshala Bhupal.
The meeting highlighted the role of the RTI mechanism in promoting transparent governance and ensuring greater public participation in administration.
