సైబర్ నేరాలను వేగంగా అరికట్టేందుకు తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఈ-జీరో ఎఫ్ఐఆర్ (E-Zero FIR) వ్యవస్థను అమలు చేయనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది. ఆన్లైన్ ఆర్థిక మోసాలపై దేశవ్యాప్తంగా పెరుగుతున్న కేసుల నేపథ్యంలో ఫిర్యాదుల నమోదును వేగవంతం చేసి దర్యాప్తును మరింత సమర్థవంతంగా నిర్వహించడమే ఈ వ్యవస్థ ప్రధాన లక్ష్యంగా ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపింది.
ఈ-జీరో ఎఫ్ఐఆర్ విధానం అమల్లోకి వస్తే, బాధితులు తమ పరిధిలోని పోలీస్ స్టేషన్కు వెళ్లకుండానే సైబర్ నేరాలపై త్వరగా ఫిర్యాదు నమోదు చేసుకునే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది. అనంతరం సంబంధిత పోలీస్ స్టేషన్కు కేసును బదిలీ చేసి విచారణను కొనసాగించే విధంగా వ్యవస్థ పనిచేస్తుంది.
ఈ చర్యతో ఫిర్యాదు నమోదులో జాప్యం తగ్గడంతో పాటు, సైబర్ నేరగాళ్లు అక్రమంగా బదిలీ చేసిన నగదును వేగంగా నిలిపివేసే అవకాశాలు మెరుగుపడతాయని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా పోలీసు శాఖల మధ్య సమన్వయం కూడా మరింత బలోపేతం కానుంది.
డిజిటల్ పోలీసింగ్ను ఆధునికీకరించడంతో పాటు ప్రజలను సైబర్ మోసాల నుంచి రక్షించేందుకు తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం చేపడుతున్న కీలక చర్యల్లో ఈ-జీరో ఎఫ్ఐఆర్ వ్యవస్థ ఒక ముఖ్యమైన అడుగుగా అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.

The Telangana Government has announced the implementation of the E-Zero FIR system to strengthen the state’s response to cybercrime and online financial fraud. The initiative aims to ensure quicker registration of cybercrime complaints and faster investigation of digital offences.
Under the E-Zero FIR system, victims will be able to register cybercrime complaints without delays related to jurisdiction. The complaint can be registered immediately and later transferred to the appropriate police station for detailed investigation.
Officials believe the new system will significantly reduce delays in reporting cyber fraud, improve the chances of freezing fraudulently transferred funds, and enhance coordination among law enforcement agencies across Telangana.
The initiative follows a national review on the increasing number of online financial fraud cases and forms part of Telangana’s broader strategy to modernize digital policing and provide stronger protection for citizens against cybercrime.
