DGP C.V. Anand Addresses 112 Probationary DSPs on Leadership in Policing

హైదరాబాద్: ఆర్బీవీఆర్‌ఆర్ తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ అకాడమీలో శిక్షణ పొందుతున్న 112 మంది ప్రొబేషనరీ DSPలతో తెలంగాణ DGP సీవీ ఆనంద్, IPS, సమావేశమై పోలీసింగ్‌లో నాయకత్వ ప్రాధాన్యతపై దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు. నిజమైన నాయకత్వం పదవి లేదా అధికారంతో నిర్వచించబడదని, ధైర్యం, దూరదృష్టి, నిజాయితీ, టీమ్‌వర్క్, సమర్థవంతమైన కమ్యూనికేషన్, కష్టపడి పనిచేయడం, ఆవిష్కరణ, ముఖ్యంగా వినయం వంటి లక్షణాలతో నాయకత్వం ప్రతిబింబిస్తుందని ఆయన అన్నారు.
ప్రజా సేవలో సుదీర్ఘ కెరీర్ కొనసాగించే సమయంలో అత్యున్నత నైతిక ప్రమాణాలను పాటించడం, వ్యక్తిగత ప్రతిష్ఠను కాపాడుకోవడం అత్యంత ముఖ్యమని DGP సీవీ ఆనంద్ స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ఆర్బీవీఆర్‌ఆర్ తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ అకాడమీలో ఏడాది పాటు శిక్షణ పూర్తి చేసిన అనంతరం ప్రొబేషనరీ DSPలు జిల్లాలకు వెళ్లి మరో 11 నెలల శిక్షణ పొందనున్నారు. ఈ శిక్షణ కాలం పూర్తయిన తర్వాత వారి శిక్షణ ప్రక్రియ ముగియనుంది.
అనంతరం DGP సీవీ ఆనంద్ 5వ తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ స్పోర్ట్స్ అండ్ గేమ్స్ మీట్-2026లోని క్లస్టర్-సి విజేతలకు బహుమతులు అందజేశారు.
క్లస్టర్-సి పోటీల్లో బ్యాడ్మింటన్, లాన్ టెన్నిస్, టేబుల్ టెన్నిస్ విభాగాల్లో 700 మందికి పైగా పోలీస్ సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఆల్ ఇండియా పోలీస్ స్పోర్ట్స్ అండ్ గేమ్స్ క్యాలెండర్‌కు అనుగుణంగా క్లస్టర్ విధానాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టడం వల్ల క్రీడా ప్రతిభను గుర్తించేందుకు వ్యవస్థీకృత వేదిక లభిస్తుందని DGP పేర్కొన్నారు.
అలాగే క్రీడాకారులకు తగినంత సమయం శిక్షణ, ప్రాక్టీస్‌కు కేటాయించడంతో పాటు ఎక్కువ పోటీ అనుభవం లభిస్తుందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. తద్వారా తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ క్రీడాకారులు ఉన్నత స్థాయి పోటీల్లో మెరుగైన ప్రదర్శన చేయడానికి ఈ విధానం దోహదపడుతుందని అన్నారు.

DGP C.V. Anand Addresses 112 Probationary DSPs on Leadership in Policing
HYDERABAD: Telangana DGP C.V. Anand, IPS, interacted with 112 probationary DSPs undergoing training at the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy and addressed them on the importance of leadership in policing.
The DGP said true leadership is not defined by titles or authority but by courage, vision, integrity, teamwork, effective communication, hard work, innovation and, above all, humility.
He stressed that maintaining the highest ethical standards and safeguarding one’s reputation are essential throughout a long career in public service.
The probationary DSPs will undergo one year of training at the Academy, after which they will proceed to the districts for a further 11 months of training before completing their training period.
Later, DGP C.V. Anand presented prizes to the winners of Cluster-C of the 5th Telangana Police Sports and Games Meet-2026.
More than 700 police personnel participated in badminton, lawn tennis and table tennis competitions.
The DGP noted that the introduction of the cluster system, aligned with the All India Police Sports and Games calendar, would provide a structured platform to identify sporting talent.
The system would also give police sportspersons adequate time for training and practice, while providing greater exposure to competitive events. According to the DGP, this would help Telangana Police sportspersons perform effectively at higher-level competitions.
