హైదరాబాద్: శ్రావణమాసం ప్రారంభమైన మరుసటి రోజే తొలి శుక్రవారం రావడంతో తెలంగాణలోని అమ్మవారి ఆలయాలు భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో సందడిగా మారాయి. శ్రావణ శుక్రవారం సందర్భంగా మహిళలు ప్రత్యేక పూజలు, వ్రతాలు నిర్వహిస్తూ అమ్మవారి అనుగ్రహం కోసం ప్రార్థనలు చేస్తున్నారు.
తెలంగాణ తెలుగు పంచాంగం ప్రకారం ఆగస్టు 13 నుంచి శ్రావణమాసం ప్రారంభమైంది. ఆగస్టు 14 శుక్రవారం శ్రావణమాసంలోని తొలి శుక్రవారం. ఈ రోజున శుక్లపక్ష విదియ కొనసాగనుంది.
శ్రావణ శుక్రవారాలకు తెలుగు సంప్రదాయంలో ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంది. ముఖ్యంగా మహిళలు అమ్మవారిని లక్ష్మీదేవి స్వరూపంగా భావించి పసుపు, కుంకుమ, పూలు, పండ్లు, నైవేద్యాలతో పూజలు చేస్తారు. కుటుంబ సౌభాగ్యం, ఐశ్వర్యం, ఆరోగ్యం కోసం వ్రతాలు, పూజలు నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది.
హైదరాబాద్లోని ప్రముఖ అమ్మవారి ఆలయాలతో పాటు తెలంగాణలోని వివిధ జిల్లాల్లోని దేవాలయాల్లో శ్రావణమాస ప్రత్యేక పూజలకు భక్తులు సిద్ధమవుతున్నారు. అమ్మవారికి ప్రత్యేక అలంకరణలు, అభిషేకాలు, అర్చనలు నిర్వహించే సంప్రదాయం అనేక ఆలయాల్లో కొనసాగుతోంది.
గతంలో శ్రావణ శుక్రవారం సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణలోని ప్రముఖ ఆలయాలు భక్తులతో కిటకిటలాడిన సందర్భాలు ఉన్నాయి. హైదరాబాద్లోని ఆలయాలతో పాటు వరంగల్లోని భద్రకాళి దేవస్థానం వంటి ప్రముఖ క్షేత్రాల్లో మహిళా భక్తులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ప్రత్యేక పూజల్లో పాల్గొన్న దృశ్యాలు నమోదయ్యాయి.
అయితే ఆగస్టు 21న వచ్చే శ్రావణ శుక్రవారం వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతం జరగనుంది. కాబట్టి ఈరోజు, ఆగస్టు 14న జరిగే తొలి శ్రావణ శుక్రవారం పూజలను వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతంగా పేర్కొనడం సరికాదు. ఆగస్టు 21న వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతానికి ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంటుంది.
శ్రావణమాసంలో ప్రతి శుక్రవారం మహిళలు ప్రత్యేకంగా అమ్మవారిని ఆరాధించడం, ముత్తయిదువులకు తాంబూలాలు ఇవ్వడం, పసుపు కుంకుమలు సమర్పించడం వంటి ఆచారాలు పాటిస్తారు. భక్తి, సంప్రదాయం, కుటుంబ సౌభాగ్యాన్ని ప్రతిబింబించేలా ఈ మాసంలో ఇళ్లతో పాటు ఆలయాల్లోనూ ప్రత్యేక వాతావరణం కనిపిస్తుంది.
శ్రావణమాసం సందర్భంగా శివాలయాల్లోనూ ప్రత్యేక పూజలు కొనసాగుతాయి. తెలంగాణలో శ్రావణ సోమవారాల ఆచారం ఆగస్టు 17 నుంచి ప్రారంభమవుతుందని పంచాంగ వివరాలు సూచిస్తున్నాయి. దీంతో రానున్న రోజుల్లో శివాలయాలకు కూడా భక్తుల రద్దీ పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉంది.
భక్తులు ఆలయాలకు వెళ్లే సమయంలో ఆలయాల స్థానికంగా ప్రకటించే దర్శన వేళలు, ప్రత్యేక పూజల సమయాలు, రద్దీ నియంత్రణ సూచనలు పాటించాలని ఆలయ నిర్వాహకులు సూచిస్తున్నారు.

Hyderabad: Temples across Telangana are witnessing a devotional atmosphere as devotees observe the first Friday of Shravan month on August 14. Women are visiting temples and performing special prayers seeking the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and other forms of the Goddess.
According to the Telangana Telugu Panchangam, Shravan month began on August 13, making August 14 the first Friday of the month. The day falls during Shukla Paksha Dwitiya.
Shravan Fridays hold special significance in Telugu Hindu traditions. Women traditionally worship the Goddess with turmeric, vermilion, flowers, fruits and offerings. Special prayers are performed for family well-being, prosperity and auspiciousness.
Prominent temples dedicated to Goddess deities in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana traditionally conduct special worship during Shravan Fridays. Devotees also participate in special decorations, archana and other religious rituals according to local temple traditions.
Telangana has witnessed large gatherings at prominent temples during Shravan Fridays in previous years. Temples in Hyderabad as well as the Bhadrakali temple in Warangal have attracted large numbers of women devotees during special Friday worship.
However, the Varalakshmi Vratam will be observed on August 21, the second Friday of the Shravan month in Telangana. Therefore, today’s August 14 observance should not be described as Varalakshmi Vratam. The Varalakshmi Vratam has its special significance on August 21.
Women traditionally observe Shravan Fridays by worshipping the Goddess, offering turmeric and vermilion and distributing tambulam to married women. The month is therefore associated with devotional observances, family traditions and special temple worship.
The Shravan month will also bring increased activity at Shiva temples. According to the Telangana Panchangam, the Shravan Monday observances begin on August 17, with devotees expected to visit Shiva temples for special worship and abhishekam.
Devotees visiting temples have been advised to follow the timings and instructions announced by individual temple administrations, particularly where special rituals and crowd-management arrangements are in place.
