తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీని కలిసి రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధికి సంబంధించిన పలు కీలక అంశాలపై కేంద్ర సహకారాన్ని కోరారు. ముఖ్యంగా బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ ప్రాణహిత-చేవెళ్ల ప్రాజెక్టులో భాగమైన తుమ్మిడిహెట్టి బ్యారేజ్ నిర్మాణానికి మహారాష్ట్రతో చర్చలు జరిపేందుకు ప్రధానమంత్రి జోక్యం చేసుకోవాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్రానికి సమగ్ర వినతిపత్రాన్ని సమర్పించారు. తెలంగాణను 2034 నాటికి ఒక ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా, 2047 నాటికి మూడు ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలనే లక్ష్యాన్ని వివరించారు.
పాలమూరు-రంగారెడ్డి ఎత్తిపోతల పథకం, హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో రెండో దశ, రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్, హైదరాబాద్-అమరావతి-బందరు ఎక్స్ప్రెస్వే, భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ వంటి ప్రాజెక్టులకు కేంద్ర మద్దతు కోరినట్లు సమాచారం.
దేశంలోని ప్రధాన ఆర్థిక నగరాల అభివృద్ధి కోసం ప్రధానమంత్రి ఆధ్వర్యంలో “ఎం-6 టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్” ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రతిపాదించారు. ఢిల్లీ, ముంబై, కోల్కతా, చెన్నై, హైదరాబాద్, బెంగళూరు నగరాలకు మౌలిక సదుపాయాల అభివృద్ధి కోసం ప్రత్యేక నిధిని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సూచించారు.
అదేవిధంగా హైదరాబాద్కు ఐఐఎం ఏర్పాటు, సెమీకండక్టర్ మిషన్ 2.0లో తెలంగాణకు ప్రాధాన్యత, ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్ తయారీ క్లస్టర్ ఏర్పాటు, హైస్పీడ్ రైలు అనుసంధానం వంటి అంశాలపై కూడా కేంద్ర సహకారం కోరారు.
రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి లక్ష్యాల సాధనలో కేంద్రం సహకరిస్తే తెలంగాణ దేశంలోనే ప్రముఖ పెట్టుబడి, సాంకేతిక మరియు ఆవిష్కరణ కేంద్రంగా ఎదుగుతుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought the Centre’s support for several major development initiatives proposed by the Telangana government.
A key focus of the meeting was the proposed Tummidihatti Barrage under the BR Ambedkar Pranahitha-Chevella project. The Chief Minister requested the Prime Minister’s intervention to facilitate discussions with Maharashtra regarding the project.
During the meeting, Revanth Reddy submitted a memorandum outlining Telangana’s long-term economic vision. The state aims to become a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2034 and a three-trillion-dollar economy by 2047.
The Chief Minister also sought support for major infrastructure projects, including the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II, Regional Ring Road, Hyderabad-Amaravati-Bandar Port Expressway, and Bharat Future City.
He further proposed the creation of an “M-6 Task Force” under the leadership of the Prime Minister to accelerate infrastructure development in six major metropolitan growth centres — Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
Additional requests included establishment of an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Hyderabad, support under Semiconductor Mission 2.0, development of an electronics manufacturing cluster, and high-speed rail connectivity.
The Chief Minister stated that strong cooperation between the Centre and Telangana would help transform the state into a leading investment, technology, and innovation hub in India.
