CM Revanth Seeks 11.56 Lakh PMAY-G Houses for Telangana
ప్రధానమంత్రి ఆవాస్ యోజన-గ్రామీణ్ కింద తెలంగాణకు 11.56 లక్షల ఇళ్లను కేటాయించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ మంత్రి శివరాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్ను కోరారు. ఢిల్లీ పర్యటనలో భాగంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, పలువురు ఎంపీలతో కలిసి కృషి భవన్లో కేంద్ర గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి, వ్యవసాయ శాఖ మంత్రి శివరాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్తో సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రధానమంత్రి ఆవాస్ యోజన-గ్రామీణ్ (PMAY-G) కింద తెలంగాణకు 11.56 లక్షల ఇళ్లను కేటాయించాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత పేదలకు సొంత ఇల్లు నిర్మించి ఇవ్వడానికి అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నట్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రి వివరించారు. గత ప్రభుత్వం PMAY-G పథకాన్ని సమర్థంగా వినియోగించుకోకపోవడంతో గత పదేళ్లుగా గ్రామీణ పేదలు ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణ అవకాశాలను కోల్పోయారని, ప్రస్తుతం భారీ డిమాండ్ ఏర్పడిందని తెలిపారు.
కేంద్ర గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ రూపొందించిన ఆవాస్ ప్లస్ (Awaas+) యాప్ ద్వారా నిర్వహించిన సర్వేలో 11,56,915 అర్హులైన గ్రామీణ కుటుంబాలను గుర్తించినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో వీలైనంత త్వరగా తెలంగాణకు ఇళ్లను మంజూరు చేయాలని కేంద్రాన్ని కోరారు.
ఎల్నినో, వర్షాభావ పరిస్థితుల కారణంగా వికసిత్ భారత్ గ్యారెంటీ ఫర్ రోజ్గార్ అండ్ ఆజీవికా మిషన్ (గ్రామీణ) (VBGRAMG) కింద అదనపు పనులను చేర్చాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రతిపాదించారు. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, చిన్న, సన్నకారు రైతులు, రైతు కూలీలకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు పెంచేందుకు కూరగాయల పందిళ్లు, పశుగ్రాస ప్లాట్లు, మల్బరీ తోటలు, పట్టు పురుగుల పెంపక షెడ్లు, ఇంటి పరిసరాల్లో కూరగాయల తోటలు, వెదురు సాగు వంటి పనులను పథకంలో చేర్చాలని కోరారు.
అలాగే కొండ ప్రాంతాల్లో నీటి నిల్వ కందకాలు, ప్లాంటేషన్లు, పండ్ల తోటల్లో తేమ సంరక్షణ పనులు, వరదలు, ఇసుక మేటల వల్ల దెబ్బతిన్న భూముల పునరుద్ధరణ పనులను కూడా పథకంలో చేర్చాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
ఉపాధి హామీ పథకం (MGNREGS) కింద ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్ల లబ్ధిదారులకు ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణ సమయంలో 90 రోజుల ఉపాధి కల్పించే విధానాన్ని వీబీజీఆర్ఏఎంజీ (VBGRAMG)లో కూడా అమలు చేయాలని కోరారు. స్థానిక అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిపాదించే ఇతర పనులను కూడా ఈ పథకంలో చేర్చాలని సూచించారు.
సమావేశంలో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు, ఉపాధి పనులకు సంబంధించిన అంశాలపై కేంద్ర మంత్రి సానుకూలంగా స్పందించినట్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. తెలంగాణ పరిస్థితులను ప్రత్యక్షంగా పరిశీలించేందుకు రాష్ట్ర పర్యటనకు రావాలని శివరాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్ను ఆహ్వానించినట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Union Minister for Rural Development and Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Krishi Bhavan in New Delhi along with Members of Parliament and requested the allocation of 11.56 lakh houses to Telangana under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G).
The Chief Minister said the State Government has given top priority to providing permanent houses to poor families. He noted that the previous government did not fully utilise the PMAY-G scheme, resulting in a large housing demand across rural Telangana.
He informed the Union Minister that a survey conducted through the Awaas+ app identified 11,56,915 eligible rural families and requested the Centre to sanction houses at the earliest.
Considering the impact of El Niño and drought conditions, the Chief Minister also sought the inclusion of additional livelihood activities under the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VBGRAMG). He proposed works such as vegetable cultivation structures, fodder plots, mulberry plantations, silkworm rearing sheds, kitchen gardens, bamboo plantations, water conservation trenches, plantation maintenance and restoration of flood-damaged lands.
He further requested that beneficiaries of Indiramma Houses be allowed to avail up to 90 days of employment under the rural employment programme during house construction, similar to the existing MGNREGS provision. The Union Minister responded positively to the issues raised, and the Chief Minister invited him to visit Telangana for a field-level assessment.
