Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, where he was welcomed at the airport by New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. The visit marks the first official visit by an Indian Prime Minister to New Zealand in nearly four decades, making it a historic milestone in bilateral relations.
During the visit, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Luxon covering the full spectrum of India–New Zealand relations. Discussions are expected to focus on trade, investment, defence cooperation, education, technology and people-to-people ties.
