The Uppal SOT team conducted a raid at Gulf Bakery in Peerzadiguda and found the alleged use of prohibited synthetic food colours, expired raw materials and adulterated food products under unhygienic conditions. Food colours, expired flavouring, jam, sauce and cakes were seized during the operation.
Acting on credible information, the Uppal SOT Zone team inspected Gulf Bakery in Peerzadiguda. The team examined the conditions under which food products were being prepared and stored.
During the inspection, the officials found unhygienic conditions at the bakery and identified prohibited synthetic food colours along with expired raw materials, flavouring, jam, sauce and cakes. The items were seized.
Officials warned that strict action would be taken against those who violate food safety standards and put public health at risk.
