ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ భారతదేశ ఉక్కు మహిళ ఇందిరా గాంధీ, తెలుగుజాతి గర్వించదగిన నాయకుడు ఎన్టీఆర్ స్ఫూర్తితో రాష్ట్రంలో సంక్షేమ, అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలను అమలు చేస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. దేశ చరిత్రలో డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్, ఇందిరా గాంధీ, ఎన్టీఆర్ వంటి మహానాయకుల సేవలు చిరస్మరణీయమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఎన్టీఆర్ కుల, మత, భాషలకు అతీతంగా ప్రజల హృదయాల్లో స్థానం సంపాదించుకున్న నాయకుడని సీఎం అన్నారు. తెలంగాణలో అనేక మంది రాజకీయ నాయకులకు ఎన్టీఆర్ రాజకీయ జీవితానికి బాటలు వేసిన వ్యక్తి అని గుర్తు చేశారు.
రాష్ట్రాన్ని అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్లే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోందని సీఎం స్పష్టం చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో భారీ అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని, భవిష్యత్తులో నగరాన్ని ప్రపంచస్థాయి పెట్టుబడుల కేంద్రంగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని చెప్పారు.
భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ పేరుతో 30 వేల ఎకరాల్లో ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక ప్రాజెక్టును అభివృద్ధి చేయనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ప్రపంచ దిగ్గజ సంస్థలను తెలంగాణకు తీసుకురావడమే కాకుండా, రాష్ట్ర యువతను ప్రపంచస్థాయి సంస్థల యజమానులుగా తీర్చిదిద్దే లక్ష్యంతో ముందుకు వెళ్తున్నామని వివరించారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో 3.24 కోట్ల మందికి సన్నబియ్యం పంపిణీ చేస్తున్నామని, ఎన్టీఆర్ ప్రవేశపెట్టిన రెండు రూపాయల కిలో బియ్యం పథకం స్ఫూర్తిగా పలు సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలు అమలు చేస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. ఇందిరమ్మ చీరలు, ఇతర సంక్షేమ పథకాలు కూడా అదే దిశలో కొనసాగుతున్నాయని చెప్పారు.
మహిళల సాధికారత కోసం రాజీవ్ గాంధీ స్థానిక సంస్థల్లో రిజర్వేషన్లు తీసుకువస్తే, వాటిని ఎన్టీఆర్ అమలు చేశారని గుర్తు చేశారు. అదే స్ఫూర్తితో మహిళలకు 33 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ల అమలుకు మద్దతు ఇస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో ఎంపీలు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, ఎన్టీఆర్ కుటుంబ సభ్యులు, అభిమానులు, సినీ ప్రముఖులు భారీ సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొన్నారు.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy unveiled the statue of former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) at Maitrivanam Junction in Ameerpet, Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said the Telangana government is implementing welfare and development programmes inspired by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and NTR. He described Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Indira Gandhi, and NTR as leaders whose contributions will continue to inspire future generations.
Revanth Reddy stated that NTR was a leader who transcended caste, religion, and language barriers and earned a permanent place in the hearts of Telugu people. He also noted that many political leaders from Telangana received opportunities and inspiration through NTR’s political legacy.
The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to transforming Telangana into a globally competitive state. He said Hyderabad is witnessing major infrastructure and development initiatives aimed at attracting global investments.
Highlighting future plans, he announced that the government is moving ahead with the ambitious Bharat Future City project across 30,000 acres. He said the objective is not only to attract multinational companies but also to empower Telangana youth to become entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Revanth Reddy further said that fine rice is being distributed to 3.24 crore beneficiaries in the state and credited NTR’s ₹2-per-kilogram rice scheme as an inspiration behind several welfare initiatives. He added that programmes such as Indiramma Sarees reflect the government’s continued focus on social welfare.
The Chief Minister also recalled that while former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi introduced reservations for women in local bodies, NTR played a significant role in implementing them. He expressed support for enhanced women’s representation through reservations.
Several ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, members of the NTR family, film personalities, and supporters attended the unveiling ceremony.
