మేడ్చల్–మల్కాజిగిరి జిల్లా ఉమ్మడి శామీర్పేట మండలంలోని పలు గ్రామాల్లో మొహరం వేడుకలు శుక్రవారం భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. శామీర్పేట మండలం, అలియాబాద్ మున్సిపాలిటీ, మూడుచింతలపల్లి మున్సిపాలిటీ పరిధిలోని గ్రామాల్లో వేడుకలు ఉత్సాహంగా సాగాయి.
మొహరం సందర్భంగా పీర్లను గ్రామ వీధుల గుండా హిందువులు, ముస్లింలు కలిసి ఊరేగించడం సామరస్యానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలిచింది. రెండు వర్గాల ప్రజలు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొని మతసామరస్యాన్ని చాటారు.
భక్తులు పీర్లకు దట్టీలు సమర్పించి తమ మొక్కులను తీర్చుకున్నారు. సంప్రదాయ ఆచారాలను పాటిస్తూ ప్రత్యేక ప్రార్థనలు నిర్వహించారు. సాయంత్రం నుంచి రాత్రి వరకు వేడుకలు కొనసాగగా, అనంతరం పీర్ల నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రశాంతంగా నిర్వహించారు.
వేడుకల సందర్భంగా ఎలాంటి అవాంఛనీయ ఘటనలు జరగకుండా స్థానిక అధికారులు, పోలీసులు అవసరమైన భద్రతా ఏర్పాట్లు చేశారు. ప్రజలు పరస్పర సహకారంతో వేడుకలను విజయవంతంగా నిర్వహించారు.

Muharram celebrations were observed with devotion and communal harmony across several villages in the Shamirpet region of Medchal–Malkajgiri district on Friday. Festivities were held in villages under Shamirpet Mandal, Aliabad Municipality, and Muduchinthalapally Municipality.
As part of the celebrations, ceremonial Peerlas were taken out in processions through village streets with the participation of both Hindu and Muslim communities, reflecting the region’s tradition of communal harmony and mutual respect.
Devotees offered dattis and fulfilled their vows while participating in special religious rituals. The celebrations continued throughout the day and concluded with the immersion of the Peerlas during the night.
