ఎంఎన్కేఎల్ఐఎస్ ఫేజ్-2కు త్వరగా టెండర్లు పిలవాలి: సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి
మక్తల్-నారాయణపేట్-కొడంగల్ ఎత్తిపోతల పథకం (MNKLIS) ఫేజ్-2 పనులకు వీలైనంత త్వరగా టెండర్లు పిలవాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. కోడంగల్ నియోజకవర్గంలో చేపట్టిన పలు అభివృద్ధి, నీటిపారుదల, రోడ్లు-భవనాల పనుల పురోగతిపై హకీంపేట్లో నిర్వహించిన సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో ఆయన ఈ ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చారు.
మక్తల్-నారాయణపేట్-కొడంగల్ ఎత్తిపోతల పథకం (MNKLIS) పనులను వేగవంతం చేసేందుకు ప్రతి ఏడాది అవసరమైన బడ్జెట్కు సంబంధించిన పూర్తి వివరాలను సమర్పించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ప్రాజెక్టుకు సంబంధించి పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న భూసేకరణ పనులను త్వరగా పూర్తి చేయాలని సూచించారు.
గత సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో ఇచ్చిన సూచనలకు అనుగుణంగా ప్రాజెక్టు పంప్హౌస్ పనులను ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు ముఖ్యమంత్రికి వివరించారు. ఫేజ్-1 పనులను డిసెంబర్ 2027 నాటికి, ఫేజ్-2 పనులను అక్టోబర్ 2028 నాటికి పూర్తి చేసేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
కోడంగల్ నియోజకవర్గ పరిధిలో రోడ్లు, భవనాల శాఖకు సంబంధించిన పనుల పురోగతిని కూడా ముఖ్యమంత్రి సమీక్షించారు. రోడ్డు కనెక్టివిటీ, భవన నిర్మాణాలు, బ్రిడ్జిలు, ఇతర మౌలిక వసతుల పనుల్లో వేగం పెంచాలని ఆదేశించారు.
నియోజకవర్గంలోని ప్రతి తండాకు రోడ్డు కనెక్టివిటీ కల్పించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. తండాలకు రోడ్ల నిర్మాణంలో నిర్లక్ష్యం వహించే అధికారులపై చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని హెచ్చరించారు.
గ్రామాల్లో వాగుల వద్ద కల్వర్టులు, వంతెనల నిర్మాణానికి పకడ్బందీ ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. వాగుల వద్ద చెక్డ్యామ్ తరహాలో వంతెనలు నిర్మించేలా తగిన డిజైన్లు రూపొందించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
CM Revanth Reddy Directs Officials to Expedite MNKLIS Phase-2 Tenders
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to invite tenders for Phase-2 of the Makthal-Narayanpet-Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme (MNKLIS) at the earliest. He reviewed the progress of irrigation, roads, buildings and other development works in the Kodangal Assembly constituency at a meeting with officials in Hakimpet.
The Chief Minister directed officials to submit complete details of the budget required every year to accelerate the MNKLIS works. He also instructed them to complete the pending land acquisition works related to the project at the earliest.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that pump house works under the MNKLIS project were being expedited in accordance with the directions issued during the previous review meeting. They said steps were being taken to complete Phase-1 works by December 2027 and Phase-2 works by October 2028.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of Roads and Buildings Department works in the Kodangal constituency. He directed officials to speed up road connectivity, building construction, bridge works and other infrastructure projects.
Officials were instructed to ensure road connectivity to every thanda in the constituency. The Chief Minister warned that action would be taken against officials who were negligent in providing roads to the thandas.
He further directed officials to prepare comprehensive plans for constructing culverts and bridges across streams in villages. He suggested that bridge designs should be developed along the lines of check-dam structures wherever appropriate.
