The EAGLE Force has busted a clandestine drug manufacturing unit operating from a mango farm in Abdullapurmet on the outskirts of Hyderabad and arrested two persons in connection with the case.
According to officials, intelligence inputs indicated that illegal narcotic substances were being produced at a secluded farm in the Abdullapurmet area. Acting on the information, EAGLE Force personnel conducted a targeted operation and raided the premises.
During the search, investigators reportedly seized equipment, chemicals and other materials suspected to have been used in the production of narcotic substances. Authorities found that the operation was being run discreetly from within the agricultural property.
Two suspects were taken into custody and are being questioned regarding the source of raw materials, the distribution network and possible links to other individuals involved in the operation.
Officials are also examining whether the network has connections beyond Hyderabad and Telangana. Further investigation is underway to determine the scale of the operation and identify additional suspects.
The crackdown comes amid intensified efforts by enforcement agencies to curb the manufacture and trafficking of narcotic substances across Telangana.
