అజామాబాద్లోని సుమారు 15,984 గజాల ఆయిల్ఫెడ్ భూమి బహిరంగ మార్కెట్లో దాదాపు రూ.500 కోట్ల విలువ చేస్తుందని, అయితే కేవలం రూ.87 కోట్లకే ప్రైవేట్ వ్యక్తికి కేటాయించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రయత్నిస్తోందని హరీశ్రావు ఆరోపించారు. ఈ రూ.87 కోట్లు చెల్లించేందుకు ఆయిల్ఫెడ్ సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఆ సంస్థను పక్కనపెట్టి ప్రైవేట్ వ్యక్తికి భూమిని అప్పగించడంపై ఆయన ప్రశ్నలు సంధించారు.
భూమి హక్కులకు సంబంధించిన గత న్యాయపరమైన పరిణామాలను కూడా హరీశ్రావు తన లేఖలో ప్రస్తావించారు. 1987లో సుప్రీంకోర్టు తీర్పు అనంతరం 15,984 గజాల భూమిని ప్రభుత్వం తిరిగి స్వాధీనం చేసుకుని 1991లో జీవో నంబర్ 93 ద్వారా ఆయిల్ఫెడ్కు అప్పగించిందని బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్గాలు పేర్కొంటున్నాయి.
2015లో ప్రభుత్వం జారీ చేసిన షోకాజ్ నోటీసుపై 2022లో తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టు తుది నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని ఆదేశించిందని కూడా హరీశ్రావు పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రస్తుత ప్రతిపాదనలో ఆయిల్ఫెడ్కు సుమారు 1,800 గజాలు మాత్రమే మిగిల్చి, మిగిలిన భూమిని ప్రైవేట్ వ్యక్తికి అప్పగించే ప్రయత్నం జరుగుతోందని ఆయన ఆరోపించారు.
ప్రభుత్వం వెంటనే ఈ కేటాయింపును రద్దు చేసి, మొత్తం 15,984 గజాల భూమిపై ఆయిల్ఫెడ్కు ఫ్రీహోల్డ్ హక్కులు కల్పించాలని హరీశ్రావు డిమాండ్ చేశారు. నిర్ణయం వెనక్కి తీసుకునే వరకు బీఆర్ఎస్ పోరాటం కొనసాగిస్తుందని ఆయన హెచ్చరించారు. ఇవన్నీ హరీశ్రావు, బీఆర్ఎస్ చేసిన ఆరోపణలేనని, ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి ఈ అంశంపై స్పందన వచ్చినట్లయితే దానిని కూడా కథనంలో చేర్చడం సముచితం.

BRS senior leader and former minister T Harish Rao has raised serious allegations over the proposed allocation of Telangana Oilfed land in Azamabad, Hyderabad. He has written an open letter to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy questioning the reported proposal.
Harish Rao alleged that around 15,984 square yards of Oilfed land in Azamabad, which he claimed could be worth nearly ₹500 crore in the open market, was being proposed for transfer to a private individual for ₹87 crore. He questioned why the government was considering the transfer when Oilfed was reportedly prepared to pay the ₹87 crore itself.
The BRS leader also referred to the legal history of the property. According to the allegations made by the BRS, following a 1987 Supreme Court judgment, the government reclaimed 15,984 square yards and subsequently handed the land over to Oilfed through GO No. 93 in 1991.
Harish Rao further referred to a show-cause notice issued by the government in 2015 and said the Telangana High Court directed the government in 2022 to take a final decision on the matter. He alleged that under the current proposal, Oilfed would retain only around 1,800 square yards while the remaining land could be transferred to a private individual.
Harish Rao demanded that the government immediately withdraw the proposed allocation and grant freehold rights over the entire 15,984 square yards to Oilfed. He also warned that the BRS would continue its campaign until the decision was withdrawn.
