A grand annadanam (food distribution) programme was organised on Tuesday at the Sri Renuka Ellamma Temple in Shamirpet mandal headquarters.

Special prayers and rituals were performed for the presiding deity before the food distribution programme commenced. Devotees visiting the temple participated in the religious activities with devotion.

The annadanam was organised by a team of faculty members from the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Women’s Degree College located in Shamirpet. Srinivasa Chari and his family members extended support for the charitable initiative.

A large number of devotees, former public representatives, and pilgrims travelling along the Rajiv Rahadari road received the annaprasadam distributed at the temple premises. The programme was conducted in a peaceful and devotional atmosphere.

Temple representatives stated that such service-oriented activities are being organised regularly with the support of devotees and well-wishers.
