సికింద్రాబాద్: చైన్ స్నాచింగ్ కేసుల్లో పాల్పడుతున్న ఘరానా దొంగను సికింద్రాబాద్ జీఆర్పీ, ఆర్పీఎఫ్ పోలీసులు పట్టుకున్నారు. నిందితుడి వద్ద నుండి 7.70 లక్షల రూపాయల విలువైన 77 గ్రాముల బంగారం స్వాధీనం చేసి, రిమాండ్కు తరలించారు. జీడిమెట్లలో నివసిస్తూ హెటెరోలో ఉద్యోగం చేస్తున్న కాకినాడకు చెందిన కొరిప్రోలు లవరాజు (23) చెడు వ్యసనాలు, జల్సాలు, బెట్టింగులకు అలవాటు పడి దొంగతనాలను అలవాటుగా మార్చుకున్నాడని జీఆర్పీ డీఎస్పీ జావేద్ తెలిపారు. విచారణలో అతను సింహపురి ఎక్స్ప్రెస్, గౌతమి ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ రైళ్లలో రెండు చైన్ స్నాచింగ్లకు పాల్పడినట్లు తేలిందని పేర్కొన్నారు. నిందితుడిని రిమాండ్కు తరలించడంతో పాటు 77 గ్రాముల బంగారం స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నట్లు వివరించారు.
Secunderabad: GRP and RPF police in Secunderabad have arrested a habitual chain snatcher and recovered 77 grams of gold worth ₹7.70 lakh from his possession. The accused, identified as Koriprolu Lavaraju (23) from Kakinada, was residing in Jeedimetla and working at Hetero. According to GRP DSP Javed, the accused had developed a habit of theft to fund his addictions, lavish lifestyle, and betting activities. Investigation revealed that he was involved in two chain snatching incidents on the Simhapuri Express and Gautami Express trains. Police have sent him to remand and recovered the stolen gold.
