ఆమెకు స్పృహ వచ్చిన తర్వాత జరిగిన విషయాన్ని గ్రహించి అతడిని ప్రశ్నించగా, ఈ విషయం బయటకు చెప్పినట్లయితే చంపేస్తానని బెదిరించాడు. బాధితురాలు వెంటనే పోలీస్ స్టేషన్‌కు వెళ్లి ఫిర్యాదు చేసింది. పోలీసులు అత్యాచారానికి సంబంధించిన కేసు నమోదు చేసి, నిందితుడిని అరెస్ట్ చేసి కోర్టులో హాజరు పరిచారు. అనంతరం అతన్ని రిమాండ్‌కు తరలించారు.

A serious sexual assault case has been registered at IIM Kolkata, where a female student accused her male classmate of raping her after giving her a sedative-laced drink. According to the complaint, the accused invited the victim to the hostel under the pretext of offering mental health support.
She alleged that he served her a cold drink mixed with sedatives, after which she lost consciousness. The sexual assault reportedly occurred during that period. Upon regaining consciousness, she confronted the accused, who allegedly threatened her not to disclose the incident. The survivor approached the local police, leading to the registration of a rape case.
The accused has been arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
