అభిమానుల ఆదరణతో విజయవంతమైన ‘వర్జిన్ బాయ్స్’ సినిమాపై కొన్ని యూట్యూబ్ ఛానల్స్ తప్పుడు ప్రచారం చేశాయంటూ చిత్రబృందం పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేసింది.
After the success of ‘Virgin Boys’ with strong public support, the film team filed a police complaint against a few YouTube channels for spreading misleading content.

జూలై 11న విడుదలైన ‘వర్జిన్ బాయ్స్’ సినిమాను రాజ్ గురు ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్స్ పతాకంపై దారపునేని రాజా నిర్మించగా, దయానంద్ దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. మిత్ర శర్మ, గీతానంద్, శ్రీహాన్, జర్నీఫర్, రోనిత్, అన్షుల, బబ్లు తదితరులు ఇందులో ముఖ్యపాత్రలు పోషించారు. ప్రేక్షకుల నుంచి మంచి స్పందన వచ్చిన నేపథ్యంలో చిత్ర బృందం విజయోత్సవ సమావేశాన్ని నిర్వహించింది.

ఈ సందర్భంలో నిర్మాత రాజా మాట్లాడుతూ, “మా సినిమాకు ప్రేక్షకుల నుండి వచ్చిన ఆదరణతో ఆనందంగా ఉన్నాం. అయితే పూల చొక్కా నవీన్ అనే యూట్యూబ్ రివ్యూవర్ మా సినిమా నుండి డబ్బులు డిమాండ్ చేసి, ఇవ్వకపోయినందున కావాలని తప్పుడు ప్రచారం చేశాడు. అలాగే కొన్ని యూట్యూబ్ ఛానల్స్ సినిమా విడుదలకు ముందే నెగిటివ్ రివ్యూలు ఇచ్చి, ప్రేక్షకులను తప్పుదారి పట్టించాయి. వారిపై ఫిలిం చాంబర్, పోలీస్ స్టేషన్‌కి ఫిర్యాదు చేశాం” అన్నారు.

దర్శకుడు దయానంద్ మాట్లాడుతూ, “సినిమా టైటిల్ చూసి సందేహించినవారు సినిమాను చూసిన తర్వాత ప్రేమతో స్పందించారు. మా నటీనటులపై తప్పుడు వ్యాఖ్యలు చేసిన వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకుంటాం” అని తెలిపారు.

నటుడు గీతానంద్ మాట్లాడుతూ, “ఇది నా మూడవ సినిమా. ఇలాంటి నెగిటివ్ ప్రచారం కొత్తవారికి నిరుత్సాహంగా ఉంటుంది. మీడియా, ప్రేక్షకుల మద్దతుతో ముందుకు వెళ్తున్నాం” అన్నారు.

నటుడు శ్రీహాన్ మాట్లాడుతూ, “ప్రేక్షకుల ప్రేమకు ధన్యవాదాలు. ఏ సర్టిఫికెట్ కారణంగా పిల్లలు దూరంగా ఉండాలి. మిగతావాళ్లంతా మా సినిమాను చూసి మద్దతు ఇవ్వండి” అన్నారు.

‘Virgin Boys’, released on July 11 under the Raj Guru Entertainments banner, was produced by Darapuneni Raja and directed by Dayanand. The film stars Mitra Sharma, Geethanand, Srihan, Jennifer, Ronith, Anshula, and Bablu in key roles. Following strong audience response, the team organized a celebratory success meet.

Speaking at the event, producer Raja expressed gratitude and stated, “We’re overwhelmed by the audience support. But YouTuber Pula Chokka Naveen demanded money from us, and when denied, he started defaming our film through false reviews. Other YouTube channels also gave negative commentary even before the release to mislead viewers. We’ve submitted complaints to the Film Chamber and the police.”

Director Dayanand added, “Initially, some had doubts based on the film’s title. But after watching, they appreciated it. We’re taking action against those who made false remarks about our actors.”

Actor Geethanand said, “This is my third film. Negative propaganda against new talent is disheartening. But with media and audience support, we’re moving forward.”

Actor Srihan shared, “Thanks to everyone who supported us. As the film received an A certificate, we advise children to avoid it, while encouraging adults to support us more.”
