అజాంపురలోని మన్‌హా లగ్జూరియస్ ఉమెన్స్ స్టోర్‌లో సేల్స్‌వుమన్‌గా పనిచేస్తున్న తహేరా బానుపై 2026 అక్టోబర్ 9న రాత్రి సుమారు 9.30 గంటలకు నిందితుడు పదునైన కత్తితో దాడి చేసినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
తీవ్రంగా గాయపడిన ఆమెను ఉస్మానియా జనరల్ ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. అయితే, అదే రోజు రాత్రి సుమారు 10.30 గంటలకు చికిత్స పొందుతూ ఆమె మృతి చెందింది.

దర్యాప్తులో నిందితుడిగా గుర్తించిన మహమ్మద్ ఇబ్రహీంను అక్టోబర్ 11న అరెస్ట్ చేసి, న్యాయస్థానం ఎదుట హాజరుపరిచినట్లు అందించిన సమాచారం పేర్కొంటోంది.

Hyderabad: Chaderghat Police have arrested Mohammed Ibrahim, 35, in connection with the murder of Tahera Banu, a saleswoman who was allegedly stabbed at a women’s clothing store in Azampura, Hyderabad.
According to the investigation details provided, the alleged motive involved personal differences between the victim and the accused, who had previously worked at the same store. Police reportedly said the woman had kept her distance from him over the preceding six months.
Attack at a Clothing Store in Azampura
The incident reportedly occurred at around 9.30 pm on October 9, 2026, at Manha Luxurious Women’s Store in Azampura. The accused allegedly attacked Tahera Banu with a sharp knife.
She was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for treatment but died at around 10.30 pm that night.
Police Register Murder Case
Following a complaint by the victim’s husband, Khaja Moinuddin, Chaderghat Police registered a murder case under Crime No. 392/2026 under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Police reportedly arrested Ibrahim on October 11 and produced him before a court. The alleged motive and circumstances remain subject to the investigation and judicial proceedings.
