షామీర్పేట్ చెరువు వద్ద గణేష్ నిమజ్జనోత్సవం సందర్భంగా భక్తుల భద్రత, సౌకర్యాల కోసం చేపట్టిన ఏర్పాట్లను మల్కాజ్గిరి సీపీ బి. సుమతి, ఐపీఎస్., మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్తో కలిసి సమీక్షించారు.
నిమజ్జన ప్రాంతంలో బందోబస్తు, సీసీ కెమెరాల నిఘా, క్రేన్లు, బారికేడ్లు, లైటింగ్, ట్రాఫిక్ నియంత్రణ, రద్దీ నిర్వహణ వంటి అంశాలపై అధికారులు సమీక్షించారు.
నిమజ్జన ప్రక్రియలో ఎలాంటి అవాంఛనీయ ఘటనలు చోటుచేసుకోకుండా పోలీసు సిబ్బంది, మున్సిపల్ అధికారులు, సంబంధిత శాఖలు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలని సీపీ సూచించారు.
భక్తులకు అవసరమైన సౌకర్యాలు అందుబాటులో ఉండేలా చూడటంతో పాటు నిమజ్జన ప్రాంతంలో రద్దీని క్రమబద్ధీకరించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
మల్కాజ్గిరి పరిధిలోని నిమజ్జన కేంద్రాల్లో భద్రత, పారిశుద్ధ్యం, లైటింగ్, తాగునీరు, వైద్య సేవలు, క్రేన్లు తదితర సదుపాయాలపై అధికారులు ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టినట్లు Telangana Today నివేదించింది.
శాంతియుత వాతావరణంలో గణేష్ నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమం కొనసాగేందుకు అన్ని శాఖలు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేస్తున్నాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police B. Sumathi, IPS, along with the municipal commissioner, reviewed the safety and public convenience arrangements at Shamirpet Lake ahead of the Ganesh idol immersion.
The review covered police bandobust, CCTV surveillance, cranes, barricading, lighting, traffic regulation and crowd-management measures at the immersion point.
The CP directed police personnel, municipal officials and other departments to work in close coordination to ensure that the immersion process is conducted peacefully and without inconvenience to devotees.
Officials were also instructed to ensure that essential facilities remain available and that crowd movement is regulated properly at the immersion location.
Across the Malkajgiri municipal limits, authorities have been focusing on facilities including lighting, drinking water, medical services, cranes, security arrangements and sanitation at designated immersion centres. Telangana Today reported that Shamirpet is among the major immersion locations covered by the arrangements.
The coordinated arrangements are aimed at facilitating a smooth and orderly Ganesh immersion while maintaining public safety and convenience.
