మల్కాజ్గిరి పరిధిలో గణేష్ ఉత్సవాల సందర్భంగా భక్తులు, వాహనదారుల్లో రోడ్డు భద్రతపై అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు పోలీసులు ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. గణేష్ సురక్ష సంకల్ప్–2026లో భాగంగా మల్కాజ్గిరి పోలీసులు, సహచరి ఆధ్వర్యంలో గణేష్ మండపాల వద్ద ట్రాఫిక్ అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం చేపట్టారు.
గణేష్ వేడుకలు, ఊరేగింపుల సమయంలో భారీగా ప్రజలు రోడ్లపైకి వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉన్న నేపథ్యంలో ట్రాఫిక్ నిబంధనలు పాటించాలని నిర్వాహకులు, భక్తులు మరియు వాహనదారులకు పోలీసులు సూచించారు.
ద్విచక్ర వాహనదారులు తప్పనిసరిగా హెల్మెట్ ధరించాలని, వాహనాలు నడిపేటప్పుడు ట్రాఫిక్ నిబంధనలు పాటించాలని అవగాహన కల్పించారు. వేడుకల సందడి మధ్య రోడ్డు భద్రతకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వాలని సూచించారు.
గణేష్ ఉత్సవాల సమయంలో హైదరాబాద్లో ట్రాఫిక్ నియంత్రణ, ప్రజా భద్రతపై పోలీసులు ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించారు. గణేష్ నిమజ్జనాల నేపథ్యంలో ట్రాఫిక్ రద్దీని తగ్గించేందుకు సైబరాబాద్ ట్రాఫిక్ పోలీసులు కూడా సెప్టెంబర్ 18 నుంచి 25 వరకు పలు ముందస్తు చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నట్లు తాజాగా వెల్లడించారు.
మల్కాజ్గిరి ప్రాంతంలో గణేష్ నిమజ్జన ఏర్పాట్లలో భాగంగా ట్రాఫిక్ నియంత్రణ, భద్రతా సూచికలు, అత్యవసర బృందాలు వంటి ఏర్పాట్లపై కూడా అధికారులు దృష్టి సారించారు.

Malkajgiri Police conducted a traffic safety awareness programme at Ganesh pandals as part of Ganesh Suraksha Sankalp 2026. The initiative was organised by Malkajgiri Police in association with SAHACHARI during the ongoing Ganesh festivities.
The programme focused on creating awareness among devotees, Ganesh festival organisers and motorists about road safety and responsible driving during the celebrations.
Police urged two-wheeler riders to wear helmets and asked motorists to strictly follow traffic rules. They also stressed the importance of reaching home safely while participating in the festivities and processions.
The awareness drive comes amid increased traffic movement across Hyderabad during the Ganesh festival and immersion period. Cyberabad Traffic Police have separately advised companies and educational institutions to consider staggered working arrangements, early logouts, work-from-home and online classes from September 18 to 25 to reduce travel-related risks and road congestion.
In Malkajgiri, civic authorities have also been making arrangements at Ganesh immersion centres, including traffic regulation, emergency support and safety measures.
The Ganesh Suraksha Sankalp initiative highlights the importance of combining festive celebrations with responsible road behaviour and public safety.
