హైదరాబాద్: నాలుగు కోట్ల తెలంగాణ ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యంతో రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాలకు అభివృద్ధి ఫలాలు అందేలా ఆధునిక తెలంగాణను నిర్మించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి పిలుపునిచ్చారు. తెలంగాణ పోరాట స్ఫూర్తితో ప్రపంచం గర్వించే రాష్ట్రంగా తెలంగాణను తీర్చిదిద్దడమే లక్ష్యమని ఆయన అన్నారు. సెప్టెంబర్ 17 తెలంగాణ ప్రజాపాలన దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా హైదరాబాద్ నాంపల్లి పబ్లిక్ గార్డెన్స్లో నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రసంగించారు.
తెలంగాణ ప్రజాపాలన దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా నాలుగు కోట్ల ప్రజలకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. స్వేచ్ఛ, ఆత్మగౌరవం, హక్కుల కోసం పోరాడిన యోధులకు నివాళులు అర్పించారు. ప్రజా పాలనకు అభివృద్ధి, సంక్షేమంతో పాటు ఆత్మగౌరవం, స్వేచ్ఛ, సమానత్వం, సామాజిక న్యాయం పునాదులని పేర్కొన్నారు.
సెప్టెంబర్ 17, 1948న హైదరాబాద్ రాజ్యం భారతదేశంలో భాగమైన చారిత్రక సందర్భాన్ని ప్రస్తావించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి, రాచరిక పాలన నుంచి ప్రజాస్వామ్య పాలనకు మార్పు ప్రారంభమైన రోజుగా పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రజల మాటకు విలువ ఇవ్వడం, వారి సమస్యలకు పరిష్కారం చూపడం, హక్కులను కాపాడటం, ప్రభుత్వ వనరులు అందరికీ చేరేలా చూడటమే ప్రజా పాలన స్ఫూర్తి అని వివరించారు.
రాష్ట్ర తలసరి ఆదాయం రూ.4,18,931కు చేరిందని, ఇది దేశ తలసరి ఆదాయం కంటే దాదాపు 91 శాతం అధికమని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. అయితే అభివృద్ధి కేవలం గణాంకాల్లో కాకుండా ప్రజల జీవన ప్రమాణాల్లో కనిపించాలన్నదే ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని చెప్పారు.
రైతు సంక్షేమంపై మాట్లాడుతూ రూ.2 లక్షల వరకు పంట రుణాలు మాఫీ చేశామని, రూ.20,616 కోట్లు విడుదల చేసి 25.35 లక్షల రైతు కుటుంబాలకు ప్రయోజనం కల్పించామని తెలిపారు. రైతు భరోసా కింద రూ.36 వేల కోట్లకు పైగా రైతుల ఖాతాల్లో జమ చేశామని, సన్న వడ్లకు క్వింటాల్కు రూ.500 బోనస్ చెల్లించామని చెప్పారు. వ్యవసాయం, రైతు సంక్షేమానికి 32 నెలల్లో దాదాపు రూ.1.72 లక్షల కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేశామని పేర్కొన్నారు.
మహిళల ఆర్థిక స్వావలంబనకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. మహాలక్ష్మి పథకం కింద మహిళలకు ఆర్టీసీ బస్సుల్లో ఉచిత ప్రయాణం కల్పించామని, గృహజ్యోతి ద్వారా 53 లక్షలకు పైగా కుటుంబాలకు 200 యూనిట్ల వరకు ఉచిత విద్యుత్ అందిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. 43 లక్షల కుటుంబాలకు రూ.500కే వంటగ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ అందిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ప్రజా పంపిణీ వ్యవస్థ ద్వారా 3.42 కోట్ల మందికి సన్న బియ్యం అందిస్తున్నామని, 15 లక్షలకు పైగా కొత్త స్మార్ట్ రేషన్ కార్డులు పంపిణీ చేశామని చెప్పారు. 43 లక్షలకు పైగా మందికి సామాజిక భద్రతా పింఛన్లు అందుతున్నాయని, అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత పింఛన్ల కింద సుమారు రూ.31 వేల కోట్లు అందించామని వివరించారు.
విద్య, వైద్య రంగాలకు ప్రభుత్వం అత్యధిక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. ప్రతి నియోజకవర్గంలో యంగ్ ఇండియా ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూళ్లను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నామని, ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో ప్రీ-ప్రైమరీ తరగతులు ప్రారంభించామని చెప్పారు. విద్యార్థులకు అల్పాహారం, పాలు అందించేందుకు రూ.927 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఆరోగ్య రంగంలో రాజీవ్ ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ పరిమితిని రూ.5 లక్షల నుంచి రూ.10 లక్షలకు పెంచామని, ముఖ్యమంత్రి సహాయనిధి ద్వారా 5.19 లక్షల మందికి రూ.2,526 కోట్ల సహాయం అందించామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి వివరించారు. హైదరాబాద్లో కొత్త ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణం ప్రారంభమైందని, ఇతర ప్రాంతాల్లో టిమ్స్ ఆసుపత్రులను విస్తరిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు.
యువతకు ఉద్యోగ, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలను పెంచే దిశగా 72 వేలకుపైగా ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగ నియామకాలను పూర్తి చేశామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. యంగ్ ఇండియా స్కిల్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఏర్పాటు చేయడంతో పాటు ఐటీఐలను అడ్వాన్స్డ్ టెక్నాలజీ సెంటర్లుగా అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు.
మౌలిక వసతుల విస్తరణలో భాగంగా రూ.38,595 కోట్లతో 122.9 కిలోమీటర్ల మెట్రో రెండో దశ విస్తరణకు ప్రతిపాదనలు పంపించామని, ఆదిలాబాద్, మామునూరు విమానాశ్రయాలకు అనుమతులు సాధించామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. హైదరాబాద్లో మూసీ పునరుజ్జీవన ప్రాజెక్టును 55 కిలోమీటర్ల పరిధిలో చేపడుతున్నట్లు వివరించారు.
తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047 లక్ష్యాల్లో భాగంగా 2047 నాటికి తెలంగాణను 3 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలని ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. దేశ జీడీపీలో తెలంగాణ వాటాను 10 శాతానికి పెంచే దిశగా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని చెప్పారు.
దాదాపు 30 వేల ఎకరాల్లో భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీని నెట్-జీరో స్మార్ట్ సిటీగా అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో టీసీఎస్ భారీ ఏఐ డేటా సెంటర్ ప్రాజెక్టును చేపట్టేందుకు ముందుకు వచ్చిందని, ఏఐ, లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్, ఈవీ, హెల్త్, ఎడ్యుకేషన్ వంటి రంగాలకు ప్రత్యేక జోన్లను అభివృద్ధి చేయనున్నట్లు వివరించారు. టీసీఎస్ ప్రాజెక్టు తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047 లక్ష్యాల్లో భాగంగా కీలక ముందడుగు అవుతుందని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం గతంలోనూ పేర్కొంది.
రాష్ట్రంలో వర్షాభావ పరిస్థితులు, పెరుగుతున్న విద్యుత్ డిమాండ్ నేపథ్యంలో తాగునీరు, విద్యుత్ సరఫరాలో ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తకుండా ముందస్తు ప్రణాళికలతో ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. ఈ పరిస్థితులను ఎదుర్కొనేందుకు ప్రజల సహకారం అవసరమని ఆయన అన్నారు.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy called for the participation of all four crore people in building a modern Telangana where development reaches every region of the state. He said the government’s objective was to build a Telangana that the world would be proud of. The Chief Minister was speaking at the Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam celebrations held at Public Gardens, Nampally, Hyderabad, on September 17, 2026.
The Chief Minister extended greetings to the people of Telangana on Praja Palana Dinotsavam and paid tributes to those who fought for the freedom, self-respect and rights of the people. He said development and welfare, along with self-respect, freedom, equality and social justice, formed the foundations of the government’s approach to public administration.
Referring to September 17, 1948, the Chief Minister described the historical transition of Hyderabad State into the Indian Union and said the occasion marked the opening of the path from monarchical rule towards democratic governance. He said Praja Palana meant respecting people’s voices, resolving their problems, protecting their rights and ensuring that government resources reached everyone.
The Chief Minister said Telangana’s per-capita income had reached ₹4,18,931, which he described as nearly 91 per cent higher than the national per-capita income. He said the government wanted development to be reflected not merely in economic figures but in the everyday lives of people.
On agriculture, Revanth Reddy said the government had waived crop loans up to ₹2 lakh and released ₹20,616 crore, benefiting 25.35 lakh farmer families. He said more than ₹36,000 crore had been credited to farmers under Rythu Bharosa and that a ₹500-per-quintal bonus had been paid for fine varieties of paddy. He said nearly ₹1.72 lakh crore had been spent on agriculture and farmer welfare during the 32-month period cited in his address.
The Chief Minister said women’s economic empowerment remained a major priority. Under the Mahalakshmi scheme, women have been provided free travel on Telangana RTC buses, while the Gruha Jyothi scheme provides free electricity up to 200 units to more than 53 lakh households. He also said 43 lakh families were receiving cooking gas cylinders at ₹500.
He said the public distribution system was supplying fine rice to 3.42 crore people and that more than 15 lakh new smart ration cards had been distributed. More than 43 lakh people were receiving social security pensions, with around ₹31,000 crore released towards pensions since the government came to power, he said.
Education and healthcare were described as two major priorities of the government. The Chief Minister said Young India Integrated Residential Schools were being developed in every constituency and that pre-primary classes had been introduced in government schools. The government was spending ₹927 crore to provide breakfast and milk to students in government schools, he said.
In healthcare, the Chief Minister said the Rajiv Aarogyasri coverage had been increased from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh. Through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, assistance of ₹2,526 crore had been provided to 5.19 lakh people, he said. He also referred to the construction and expansion of major hospitals in Hyderabad and other parts of the state.
On employment, Revanth Reddy said more than 72,000 government appointments had been completed transparently. He also highlighted the Young India Skills University and the upgrading of ITIs into Advanced Technology Centres to prepare young people for changing employment requirements.
The Chief Minister said infrastructure development was also being accelerated. Proposals had been submitted for a 122.9-kilometre expansion of Hyderabad Metro Phase-II at an estimated cost of ₹38,595 crore. He also referred to approvals and land acquisition related to the Adilabad and Mamunur airports. The Musi rejuvenation project, covering a 55-kilometre stretch, was another major initiative highlighted in his address.
Under Telangana Rising 2047, the government has set a goal of transforming Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047 and increasing the state’s contribution to India’s GDP to 10 per cent, according to the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister also outlined plans for Bharat Future City, which he said was being developed as a net-zero smart city over nearly 30,000 acres. The proposed development includes dedicated zones for artificial intelligence, life sciences, electric vehicles, healthcare and education. The Telangana government has separately described the proposed TCS HyperVault AI data-centre project as a significant component of the Telangana Rising 2047 vision.
