New York: A controversy has erupted after an Indian national flag was torn during protests held outside Madison Square Garden in New York against an event featuring RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. The protests took place on August 29, with tensions reported between supporters of Bhagwat and demonstrators opposing the event.
