మాజీ OSD సుమంత్పై హత్యాయత్నం కేసు.. రియల్టర్పై ఇనుప రాడ్లతో దాడి ఆరోపణలు
హైదరాబాద్: మంత్రి కొండా సురేఖ మాజీ OSD సుమంత్పై హత్యాయత్నం కేసు నమోదైంది. రియల్ ఎస్టేట్ వ్యాపారి గొంగిడి హరికృష్ణ ఇచ్చిన ఫిర్యాదు ఆధారంగా మేడిపల్లి పోలీసులు జీరో FIR నమోదు చేసి, అనంతరం కేసును జూబ్లీహిల్స్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్కు బదిలీ చేశారు. సుమంత్తో పాటు మరికొందరిపై BNS సెక్షన్ 109, 3(5) కింద కేసు నమోదైనట్లు తాజా నివేదికలు వెల్లడించాయి.
హరికృష్ణ ఫిర్యాదు ప్రకారం.. జూలై 30న సుమంత్ తనను అత్యవసరంగా కలవాలని ఫోన్ చేసినట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. మరుసటి రోజు జూబ్లీహిల్స్లోని ఓ కార్యాలయానికి వెళ్లిన సమయంలో, తన పేరు ఉపయోగించి డబ్బులు వసూలు చేస్తున్నావంటూ సుమంత్ ప్రశ్నించినట్లు ఆరోపించారు. తాను ఎలాంటి వసూళ్లకు పాల్పడలేదని చెప్పినా వినకుండా ఇనుప రాడ్డుతో చేతులు, కాళ్లపై దాడి చేసినట్లు ఫిర్యాదులో పేర్కొన్నారు.
అనంతరం సుమంత్తో ఉన్న వ్యక్తులు కూడా తనపై దాడి చేశారని హరికృష్ణ ఆరోపించారు. ఈ విషయం బయటకు చెబితే తీవ్ర పరిణామాలు ఎదుర్కోవాల్సి వస్తుందని బెదిరించినట్లు తెలిపారు. దాడిలో తన ఎడమ చేతికి ఫ్రాక్చర్ కావడంతో చికిత్స తీసుకున్నానని, ఆగస్టు 10న శస్త్రచికిత్స జరిగినట్లు ఫిర్యాదులో పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఘటన జూబ్లీహిల్స్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలో జరిగినప్పటికీ, ఫిర్యాదు మేడిపల్లి పోలీసులకు అందడంతో వారు తొలుత జీరో FIR నమోదు చేశారు. అనంతరం దర్యాప్తు కోసం కేసును జూబ్లీహిల్స్ పోలీసులకు బదిలీ చేశారు. కేసులో ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సుమంత్ నుంచి ఇప్పటివరకు స్పందన వెలువడలేదు. ఆరోపణలపై పోలీసులు దర్యాప్తు కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు.
గమనిక: ఇవి ఫిర్యాదులో పేర్కొన్న ఆరోపణలు మాత్రమే; ఆరోపణలు ఇంకా దర్యాప్తులో ఉన్నాయి.

Attempt to Murder Case Filed Against Former OSD Sumanth
A case has been registered against former OSD Sumanth, who previously worked with Telangana Minister Konda Surekha, following allegations of an attack on real estate businessman Gongidi Harikrishna. Medipally police registered a case under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against Sumanth and five others based on Harikrishna’s complaint.
According to Harikrishna’s complaint, Sumanth had earlier called him and asked him to meet. As he was unavailable at the time, Harikrishna said he would meet him later. He later went to his friend Ramu’s office, where Sumanth was allegedly present.
Harikrishna alleged that Sumanth questioned him over claims that he was collecting money from people by using Sumanth’s name. He said he denied the allegations but was allegedly abused and attacked with an iron rod on his legs and hands. He further alleged that five others accompanying Sumanth also attacked him.
Harikrishna also alleged that he was threatened with serious consequences if he disclosed the incident to others. Based on his complaint, Medipally police initially registered a Zero FIR and later transferred the case to Jubilee Hills Police Station for further investigation.
Sumanth has not responded to the allegations so far. The circumstances that led to the incident and the individual roles of those allegedly involved are expected to be established during the police investigation.
