సారూర్నగర్: హైదరాబాద్ సారూర్నగర్ భగత్సింగ్ నగర్లో ఎల్బీ నగర్ డీసీపీ పర్యవేక్షణలో పోలీసులు కార్డన్ అండ్ సెర్చ్ ఆపరేషన్ నిర్వహించారు. ప్రజల భద్రత, నేరాల నియంత్రణలో భాగంగా ఈ తనిఖీలు చేపట్టారు.
ఆపరేషన్లో భాగంగా పోలీసులు మొత్తం 428 ఇళ్లను తనిఖీ చేశారు. అనుమానాస్పద కార్యకలాపాలు, నిషేధిత వస్తువులపై ప్రత్యేకంగా దృష్టి సారించినట్లు మల్కాజ్గిరి పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
తనిఖీల్లో 18.72 లీటర్ల మద్యం స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. దీని విలువ సుమారు రూ.20,500గా పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. అలాగే సుమారు రూ.14,300 విలువైన నిషేధిత గుట్కా, పొగాకు ఉత్పత్తులను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.
పోలీసులు 494 వాహనాలను కూడా తనిఖీ చేశారు. నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధంగా ఉన్న 33 వాహనాలను డిటైన్ చేసినట్లు మల్కాజ్గిరి పోలీసులు వెల్లడించారు.
భగత్సింగ్ నగర్లో నిర్వహించిన ఈ కార్డన్ అండ్ సెర్చ్ ఆపరేషన్ ప్రశాంతంగా ముగిసినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. ప్రజల భద్రతకు భరోసా కల్పించడంతో పాటు నేరాల నియంత్రణ కోసం నిరంతర నిఘా కొనసాగుతుందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

Hyderabad: Police conducted a cordon and search operation in Bhagat Singh Nagar, Saroornagar, under the supervision of the LB Nagar DCP as part of efforts to strengthen public safety and prevent crime.
During the operation, police personnel checked a total of 428 houses. The searches focused on identifying suspicious activities and detecting prohibited items in the area.
Police seized 18.72 litres of liquor during the operation. The seized liquor was estimated to be worth around Rs.20,500, according to the Malkajgiri Police.
Officials also seized gutka and other prohibited tobacco products valued at approximately Rs.14,300.
As part of the operation, police checked 494 vehicles. A total of 33 vehicles were detained for violations identified during the checks.
The cordon and search operation in Bhagat Singh Nagar was conducted peacefully, Malkajgiri Police said. The police reiterated that continuous surveillance would be maintained to ensure public safety and prevent criminal activities in the area.
