English: Arrive Alive: Tirumalagiri Traffic Police Raise Road Safety Awareness
విద్యార్థుల్లో రహదారి భద్రతపై అవగాహన పెంచేందుకు “అరైవ్ అలైవ్” కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా తిరుమలగిరి ట్రాఫిక్ డివిజన్ పోలీసులు ఆర్కే పురంలోని ఆర్మీ పబ్లిక్ స్కూల్లో అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. విద్యార్థులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులకు ట్రాఫిక్ నిబంధనలు, ప్రమాదాల నివారణపై అవగాహన కల్పించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా తిరుమలగిరి ట్రాఫిక్ డివిజన్ ఏసీపీ జి. శంకర్ రాజు బాధ్యతాయుతమైన రహదారి వినియోగం, ట్రాఫిక్ నిబంధనల పాటింపు, రోడ్డు ప్రమాదాల నివారణపై విద్యార్థులకు వివరించారు.
ద్విచక్ర వాహనదారులు తప్పనిసరిగా హెల్మెట్, కార్లలో ప్రయాణించే వారు సీటుబెల్ట్ ధరించాలని సూచించారు. ట్రాఫిక్ సిగ్నల్స్ పాటించడం, లేన్ క్రమశిక్షణను పాటించడం, వాహనం నడుపుతున్న సమయంలో మొబైల్ ఫోన్ వినియోగించకపోవడం వంటి అంశాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించారు.
మైనర్లకు వాహనాలు నడపకుండా చూడాలని, రహదారిపై ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ బాధ్యతాయుతంగా వ్యవహరించాలని సూచించారు. ట్రాఫిక్ నిబంధనలను కచ్చితంగా పాటించడం ద్వారా ప్రమాదాలను గణనీయంగా తగ్గించవచ్చని తెలిపారు.
As part of the “Arrive Alive” road safety awareness programme, the Tirumalagiri Traffic Division conducted an awareness session for students and teachers of Army Public School, RK Puram, Tirumalagiri. The programme focused on responsible road use, traffic rules and prevention of road accidents.
Tirumalagiri Traffic Division ACP G. Shankar Raju explained the importance of following traffic regulations and adopting safe practices while using roads.
Students and teachers were advised to wear helmets and seat belts, follow traffic signals and maintain lane discipline. They were also cautioned against using mobile phones while driving and urged to prevent minors from driving vehicles.
The programme emphasised that strict adherence to traffic rules and responsible road behaviour can help prevent road accidents and improve overall road safety.
