CM Revanth Reddy Honours Hyderabad E-Champions, Reaffirms Telangana’s Sports Development Vision

తెలంగాణలో క్రీడా రంగ అభివృద్ధికి ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. క్రీడల్లో ప్రతిభ కనబరిచిన వారికి నగదు ప్రోత్సాహకాలతో పాటు ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు కల్పిస్తూ యువ క్రీడాకారులను ప్రోత్సహిస్తున్నామని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఇటీవల విజయవంతంగా నిర్వహించిన సీజన్-1 టీజీ20 క్రికెట్ లీగ్లో విజేతగా నిలిచిన హైదరాబాద్ ఈ-ఛాంపియన్స్ జట్టు సభ్యులు హైదరాబాద్లోని ఎంసీఆర్ హెచ్ఆర్డీ బోధి పేవిలియన్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రిని మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా సీఎం జట్టు సభ్యులను అభినందించి నగదు చెక్కులను అందజేశారు.
తెలంగాణకు ప్రత్యేక స్పోర్ట్స్ పాలసీని అమలు చేస్తున్నామని, ఇప్పటికే స్పోర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేశామని సీఎం తెలిపారు. అలాగే గచ్చిబౌలి స్టేడియాన్ని అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రమాణాలకు అనుగుణంగా అభివృద్ధి చేసే చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని చెప్పారు. గతంలో హైదరాబాద్ అనేక జాతీయ స్థాయి క్రీడలకు వేదికగా నిలిచిందని గుర్తుచేశారు.
గ్రామీణ ప్రాంత యువత తమ ప్రతిభను నిరూపించుకునేందుకు టీజీ20 లీగ్ మంచి వేదికగా మారుతోందని సీఎం అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. ఏ రంగంలోనైనా విజయం సాధించాలంటే లక్ష్యంపై దృష్టి, క్రమశిక్షణ, అంకితభావం అవసరమని క్రీడాకారులకు సూచించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఈనాడు సంస్థల మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ సీహెచ్ కిరణ్, ప్రముఖ బ్యాడ్మింటన్ కోచ్ పుల్లెల గోపీచంద్ పాల్గొన్నారు.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the Telangana Government is giving special priority to the development of sports by encouraging talented athletes with cash rewards and government employment opportunities. He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening the state’s sporting ecosystem.
Members of the Hyderabad E-Champions team, winners of the recently concluded Season 1 TG-20 Cricket League, met the Chief Minister at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion in Hyderabad. During the meeting, the Chief Minister congratulated the players and presented them with reward cheques.
The Chief Minister stated that Telangana has introduced a dedicated Sports Policy and established a Sports University to nurture sporting talent. He also said the government is upgrading the Gachibowli Stadium to international standards, aiming to strengthen Telangana’s position as a major sports destination.
Revanth Reddy noted that the TG-20 League provides an important platform for rural cricketers to showcase their talent. He advised young athletes to remain focused, disciplined and committed to their chosen field to achieve excellence. The event was attended by Eenadu Managing Director C.H. Kiran and renowned badminton coach Pullela Gopichand.
