హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణలో నైరుతి రుతుపవనాలు మరింత బలపడటంతో నేటి నుంచి రాష్ట్రంలోని పలు జిల్లాల్లో భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ (IMD) హెచ్చరించింది.

వాతావరణ శాఖ పలు జిల్లాలకు ఎల్లో అలర్ట్ జారీ చేసింది. ముఖ్యంగా ఆదిలాబాద్, కుమురంభీం ఆసిఫాబాద్, మంచిర్యాల, నిర్మల్, నిజామాబాద్ జిల్లాల్లో భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపింది. ఖమ్మం, ములుగు, భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం, నల్గొండ, సూర్యాపేట, సంగారెడ్డి, మెదక్, కామారెడ్డి, హైదరాబాద్‌తో పాటు మరికొన్ని జిల్లాల్లో ఉరుములు, మెరుపులతో కూడిన వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని పేర్కొంది.

గంటకు 30–40 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో ఈదురుగాలులు వీచే అవకాశం ఉండటంతో ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు. లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాల్లో నీటిమునిగే పరిస్థితులు, రహదారులపై నీరు నిలిచే అవకాశం ఉండటంతో అవసరం లేకుంటే ప్రయాణాలు వాయిదా వేసుకోవాలని సూచించారు.

వ్యవసాయ పనులు చేపడుతున్న రైతులు, బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాల్లో పనిచేసే వారు ఉరుములు, మెరుపుల సమయంలో చెట్ల కింద నిలబడకూడదని, విద్యుత్ స్తంభాలు మరియు నీటిమయమైన ప్రాంతాలకు దూరంగా ఉండాలని వాతావరణ శాఖ సూచించింది.

రాష్ట్రంలో రానున్న రెండు మూడు రోజులు వర్షపాతం కొనసాగనున్న నేపథ్యంలో జిల్లా యంత్రాంగాలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని ప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశించింది.

Hyderabad: The southwest monsoon has strengthened over Telangana, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in several districts beginning today.

The IMD has issued a Yellow Alert for districts including Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal and Nizamabad. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are also likely in Hyderabad, Khammam, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and several other districts.

Wind speeds of 30–40 kmph are expected during thunderstorms, and residents have been advised to remain cautious. Waterlogging may occur in low-lying areas, while motorists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during periods of intense rainfall.

The weather department has also advised farmers and people working outdoors to avoid sheltering under trees during lightning and to stay away from electric poles and waterlogged locations.

With rainfall activity expected to continue over the next few days, district administrations have been asked to remain on alert and take precautionary measures.
