తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో రాబోయే రోజుల్లో భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశముందని భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ (ఐఎండీ) హెచ్చరించింది. నైరుతి రుతుపవనాల ప్రభావం మరింత బలపడటంతో పలు జిల్లాల్లో ఉరుములు, మెరుపులు, ఈదురుగాలులతో కూడిన వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

ప్రత్యేకంగా ఉత్తర, మధ్య తెలంగాణ జిల్లాల్లో కొన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లో భారీ నుంచి అతి భారీ వర్షాలు నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని వాతావరణ శాఖ పేర్కొంది. గంటకు 30 నుంచి 50 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో ఈదురుగాలులు వీచే అవకాశముండటంతో ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించింది.

లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాల్లో నీటి నిల్వలు, పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో ట్రాఫిక్ అంతరాయాలు, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో పంటలకు నష్టం కలిగే అవకాశాలపై అధికారులు దృష్టి సారించారు. జిల్లా యంత్రాంగాలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, అత్యవసర పరిస్థితులకు సిద్ధంగా ఉండాలని ప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశించింది.

మెరుపులు సంభవించే అవకాశమున్నందున రైతులు, బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాల్లో పనిచేసే కార్మికులు, ప్రయాణికులు తగిన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. అవసరం లేని ప్రయాణాలను నివారించాలని, వాతావరణ శాఖ తాజా హెచ్చరికలను అనుసరించాలని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
