Election officials associated with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) have undergone training on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process as part of preparations for electoral roll management and future election-related activities.
The training programme focused on voter list revision procedures, scrutiny of applications and objections, and the guidelines issued by the Election Commission to ensure transparency and accuracy in the electoral process.
Officials were briefed on the latest instructions related to voter registration, verification procedures and the responsibilities involved in maintaining updated electoral rolls.
According to officials, the objective of the training is to improve the accuracy of voter databases, facilitate eligible citizens’ participation in elections and strengthen the overall electoral administration process.
