తెలంగాణలో భానుడు ఉగ్రరూపం దాల్చాడు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా రికార్డు స్థాయిలో ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదవుతుండటంతో వాతావరణ శాఖ పలు జిల్లాలకు రెడ్ అలర్ట్ జారీ చేసింది. ఇవాళ, రేపు పలుచోట్ల 45 డిగ్రీలకుపైగా ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యే అవకాశముందని అధికారులు హెచ్చరించారు.
గురువారం పెద్దపల్లి జిల్లా ముత్తారం, సూర్యాపేట జిల్లా మునగాలలో అత్యధికంగా 46.5 డిగ్రీల ఉష్ణోగ్రత నమోదైంది. భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం జిల్లా చుంచుపల్లి, హనుమకొండ జిల్లా కమలాపూర్ ప్రాంతాల్లో 46.4 డిగ్రీల ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యాయి.
రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 244 మండలాల్లో వడగాలులు వీచినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఎండల తీవ్రత కారణంగా ఒక్కరోజులోనే 22 మంది మృతి చెందినట్లు సమాచారం. వృద్ధులు, చిన్నారులు, అనారోగ్యంతో బాధపడుతున్నవారు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు.
శుక్రవారం అదిలాబాద్, ఆసిఫాబాద్, మంచిర్యాల, కరీంనగర్, పెద్దపల్లి, భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం, ఖమ్మం, జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి, ములుగు, నల్గొండ, సూర్యాపేట, నాగర్ కర్నూల్ జిల్లాలకు రెడ్ అలర్ట్ జారీ చేశారు. శనివారం కూడా పలు జిల్లాల్లో వడగాలుల తీవ్రత కొనసాగనున్నట్లు వాతావరణ శాఖ తెలిపింది.
ఉదయం 10 గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు బయటకు రావొద్దని అధికారులు సూచించారు. అత్యవసర పరిస్థితుల్లో మాత్రమే బయటకు రావాలని, తగినంత నీరు తాగుతూ జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని హెచ్చరించారు.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for several districts in Telangana as temperatures crossed 46 degrees Celsius amid intense heatwave conditions across the state.
According to weather officials, severe heatwave conditions are expected to continue on Friday and Saturday in multiple districts. On Thursday, the highest temperature of 46.5°C was recorded in Mutharam of Peddapalli district and Munagala in Suryapet district. Chunchupalli in Bhadradri Kothagudem district and Kamalapur in Hanamkonda district recorded 46.4°C.
Authorities said heatwave conditions were reported in 244 mandals across Telangana, marking one of the most severe summer spells in recent years. Reports also indicated that 22 people died due to heat-related conditions in a single day, while elderly people, children and outdoor workers faced extreme difficulties.
The IMD issued red alerts for districts including Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Nalgonda, Suryapet and Nagarkurnool on Friday. Similar severe conditions are expected in several districts on Saturday as well.
Officials advised people to avoid outdoor movement between 10 am and 5 pm and urged residents to stay hydrated and take precautions against heatstroke.
