An eight-year-old girl died after suffering an electric shock in Telangana’s Khammam district on Thursday, police said. The tragic incident occurred in Narayanapuram village of Tallada mandal and has raised concerns over electrical safety at construction sites in rural areas.
According to local officials, the child was reportedly playing near an under-construction house when she accidentally came into contact with exposed live electric wires. She collapsed immediately after the shock.
