Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Directs Collectors To Speed Up Paddy And Maize Procurement
A Revanth Reddy రాష్ట్రంలో ధాన్యం సేకరణ, మొక్కజొన్న కొనుగోళ్ల ప్రక్రియను మిషన్ మోడ్లో వేగంగా పూర్తి చేయాలని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్లకు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. కొనుగోలు కేంద్రాల్లో రైతులకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
క్యాంపు కార్యాలయం నుంచి వివిధ జిల్లాల కలెక్టర్లతో వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ నిర్వహించిన సీఎం, ధాన్యం కొనుగోళ్ల పురోగతిని సమీక్షించారు. పలు జిల్లాల్లో గన్నీ బ్యాగులు, హమాలీలు, లారీల కొరత వంటి సమస్యలపై కలెక్టర్ల నుంచి వివరాలు తెలుసుకున్నారు.
కొనుగోలు కేంద్రాల్లో అధికారులు క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో నిరంతరం పర్యవేక్షణ చేయాలని సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. కొనుగోలు చేసిన ధాన్యాన్ని వెంటనే గోదాములకు తరలించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. లారీలను సరిపడా అందుబాటులో ఉంచని కాంట్రాక్టర్లపై అవసరమైతే క్రిమినల్ కేసులు నమోదు చేయాలని హెచ్చరించారు.
ధాన్యం లోడింగ్లో జాప్యం లేకుండా స్థానిక హమాలీలను వినియోగించాలని, ధాన్యం లోడ్ చేసిన వెంటనే రైతులకు రశీదులు అందించాలని చెప్పారు. తాలు, తరుగు పేరుతో అక్రమాలు జరగకుండా కట్టుదిట్టమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆదేశించారు.
గోదాముల కొరత ఉన్న ప్రాంతాల్లో తాత్కాలిక ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. అవసరమైతే రైతు బజార్లు, ఫంక్షన్ హాళ్లను తాత్కాలిక నిల్వ కేంద్రాలుగా వినియోగించాలని పేర్కొన్నారు. అకాల వర్షాల సమయంలో ధాన్యం తడవకుండా టార్పాలిన్లు అందుబాటులో ఉంచాలని కూడా ఆదేశించారు.
మొక్కజొన్న పంట ఎక్కువగా పండే జిల్లాల్లో ప్రత్యేక అప్రమత్తత అవసరమని సీఎం తెలిపారు. అవసరమైతే పోలీసుల సహకారంతో కొనుగోలు ప్రక్రియను సజావుగా నిర్వహించాలని సూచించారు.
వాతావరణ శాఖ హెచ్చరికల ఆధారంగా రైతులను అప్రమత్తం చేయడానికి మండల స్థాయిలో ప్రత్యేక అధికారులను నియమించాలని సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రతి ఐకేపీ సెంటర్, ప్రతి రైస్మిల్లుకు బాధ్యతాయుత అధికారిని నియమించాలని ఆదేశించారు.

A Revanth Reddy directed district collectors to complete paddy procurement and maize purchase operations across Telangana in mission mode without delay. The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that farmers do not face any inconvenience at procurement centres.
During a video conference held from the camp office with district collectors, the Chief Minister reviewed the progress of paddy procurement across various districts. He sought details regarding issues related to transportation, gunny bags, labour shortages, and storage facilities.
Revanth Reddy instructed officials to continuously monitor field-level conditions at procurement centres. He directed that procured paddy should be shifted to warehouses immediately to avoid delays and losses. The Chief Minister also warned contractors who fail to provide sufficient lorries as per agreements and stated that criminal action could be initiated if required.
To avoid delays in loading operations, collectors were asked to identify and engage local hamalis wherever necessary. Farmers should receive receipts immediately after paddy loading to prevent irregularities in deductions and weighing practices, he said.
The Chief Minister also suggested temporary storage arrangements in areas facing warehouse shortages. He advised officials to utilise Rythu Bazaars and function halls as temporary storage points wherever required.
Special focus was placed on districts with high maize production. Collectors were instructed to remain alert and ensure smooth procurement operations with police support if necessary.
Revanth Reddy further directed officials to prepare long-term plans to protect farmers during unseasonal rains. Tarpaulins should be made available to prevent paddy from getting damaged. Special officers should be appointed at the mandal level to regularly alert farmers based on weather department forecasts.
The review meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and several state ministers and senior officials.
