290 కోట్ల ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణాలు – మహిళలకు సన్మానం
హాలక్ష్మి పథకం విజయోత్సవం సందర్భంగా శామీర్పేటలో మహిళలకు సన్మానం నిర్వహించగా, రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణాలతో మహిళల ఆర్థిక స్వావలంబనకు ఈ పథకం దోహదపడుతోందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
శామీర్పేట, మార్చి 31: మహాలక్ష్మి పథకం విజయోత్సవం సందర్భంగా మహిళలను ఘనంగా సన్మానించారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ముఖ్యమంత్రి A. Revanth Reddy నాయకత్వంలో, రవాణా మరియు బీసీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ మంత్రి Ponnam Prabhakar ఆధ్వర్యంలో అమలు చేస్తున్న ఈ పథకం విజయవంతంగా కొనసాగుతోందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో శామీర్పేట డివిజన్ పరిధిలోని హకీంపేట బస్ డిపోలో ఆర్టీసీ అధికారులు ప్రత్యేక సన్మాన కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. జిల్లా ఆర్టీఏ సభ్యుడు భీమిడి జైపాల్ రెడ్డి, మాజీ ఎంపీటీసీ సింగిరెడ్డి ఇంద్రలు ముఖ్య అతిథులుగా పాల్గొన్నారు.
మహాలక్ష్మి పథకం ప్రభావంతో రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా మహిళలు ఇప్పటివరకు సుమారు 290 కోట్ల ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణాలు చేసినట్లు తెలిపారు. ఈ పథకం ద్వారా రాష్ట్ర రోడ్డు రవాణా సంస్థకు సుమారు రూ.10 కోట్ల ప్రయాణ చార్జీల ఆదా జరిగినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మహిళలందరికీ అభినందనలు తెలియజేశారు.
వివిధ రంగాల్లో సేవలందిస్తూ బస్సులలో ప్రయాణిస్తున్న మహిళలను సన్మానించి వారి పాత్రను ప్రశంసించారు. కార్యక్రమంలో మాట్లాడిన వారు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం మహిళలకు అధిక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తోందని పేర్కొన్నారు. మహిళలను ఆర్థికంగా బలోపేతం చేయడమే ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని, ఎన్నికల హామీ మేరకు ఉచిత బస్సు సౌకర్యాన్ని అందిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ప్రతిరోజూ ప్రయాణించే మహిళలకు ఈ పథకం ఎంతో ఉపయోగకరంగా మారిందని, రవాణా ఖర్చులు తగ్గడంతో వారి ఆర్థిక స్థితి మెరుగుపడుతోందని చెప్పారు. మహిళల స్వావలంబన పెంపునకు ఈ పథకం తోడ్పడుతోందని వివరించారు.
The Mahalakshmi Scheme celebrations in Shamirpet highlighted the growing impact of free bus travel for women, with officials stating that the initiative is significantly improving women’s financial independence across the state.
At a felicitation event held at Hakimpet Bus Depot, RTC officials honored women commuters and workers for their contributions across various sectors. The scheme, implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, has been witnessing strong public response.
Officials stated that women across the state have availed nearly 290 crore free bus journeys so far. The initiative has also resulted in estimated savings of around ₹10 crore in travel expenses.
Speakers at the event emphasized that the scheme is not only reducing transportation costs but also strengthening women’s financial stability and independence. The government aims to empower women economically and enhance their participation in daily mobility through such welfare measures.
