పోలీసుల వివరాల ప్రకారం, 2023లో డేటింగ్ యాప్ ద్వారా రవీంద్రకు మౌనికతో పరిచయం ఏర్పడింది. తరువాత రవీంద్రకు శ్రీలక్ష్మితో వివాహం జరిగింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో మౌనిక, రవీంద్ర మధ్య విభేదాలు పెరిగాయి. కొంతకాలం దూరంగా ఉన్న మౌనిక, ఇటీవల మళ్లీ అతనితో సంప్రదింపులు ప్రారంభించింది.

ఈ ఒత్తిడితో రవీంద్ర మౌనికను తొలగించుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాడు. గాజువాక ఎల్వీ నగర్లోని తన ఫ్లాట్కు పిలిచి, బెడ్రూమ్లో గొంతు నులిమి హత్య చేశాడు. అనంతరం మృతదేహాన్ని ముక్కలుగా చేసి, కొంత భాగాన్ని ఫ్రిజ్లో దాచాడు.
మిగతా భాగాలను సంచుల్లో పెట్టి ధారపాలెం ప్రాంతంలో తగలబెట్టినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. తర్వాత తన స్నేహితుడి సలహాతో రవీంద్ర గాజువాక పోలీసుల ముందు లొంగిపోయాడు.
పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి, నిందితుడిని రిమాండ్కు తరలించారు. ఫోన్ కాల్ డేటా సహా అన్ని కోణాల్లో విచారణ కొనసాగుతోంది. ఈ ఘటన తెలంగాణ, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రాంతాల్లో తీవ్ర చర్చకు దారి తీసింది.

Shocking details have emerged in the brutal murder of a woman, Mounika, in Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, where she was allegedly killed by her lover Ravindra. The incident has created widespread concern across both Telugu states.
According to police, Ravindra met Mounika through a dating application in 2023. Later, he got married to Srilakshmi, which led to conflicts between him and Mounika. After a brief gap, Mounika reconnected with him recently.
Police stated that Mounika had been pressuring Ravindra for money and had already received over ₹3 lakh. Despite that, the harassment allegedly continued. She reportedly threatened to expose their relationship and send photos and videos to his wife if he failed to pay more money.
Unable to handle the pressure, Ravindra allegedly planned the murder. He called Mounika to his flat in LV Nagar, Gajuwaka, and strangled her in the bedroom. He later suffocated her using a pillow to ensure death.
After the murder, he dismembered the body, stored some parts in a refrigerator, and packed others in bags. Police said some body parts were later burned in Dharapalem.
Following the crime, Ravindra reportedly confessed to a friend, who advised him to surrender. He later surrendered before the Gajuwaka police. A case has been registered under relevant sections, and the accused has been remanded.
Police confirmed that further investigation is ongoing, including analysis of call data records. The case continues to draw significant public attention.
