తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం 2026-27 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి రూ.3,24,234 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో వార్షిక బడ్జెట్ను ప్రవేశపెట్టింది. ఈ బడ్జెట్ రైతు సంక్షేమం, మహిళల సాధికారత, యువతకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు, విద్య, ఆరోగ్య రంగాల అభివృద్ధికి ప్రాధాన్యతనిస్తోంది.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన మంత్రిమండలి సమావేశంలో బడ్జెట్కు ఆమోదం లభించింది. అనంతరం ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శాసనసభలో బడ్జెట్ను ప్రవేశపెట్టగా, శాసనమండలిలో కూడా ప్రవేశపెట్టారు.
ఈ బడ్జెట్లో రాష్ట్రంలోని 1.15 కోట్ల కుటుంబాలకు ‘ఇందిరమ్మ కుటుంబ జీవ బీమా’ పథకం ప్రతిపాదించారు. ప్రతి కుటుంబానికి రూ.5 లక్షల బీమా అందించేలా నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.
విద్యా రంగంలో కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకున్నారు. ప్రీ-ప్రైమరీ నుంచి ఇంటర్మీడియట్ వరకు విద్యార్థులకు బ్రేక్ఫాస్ట్ పథకం, ఇంటర్ విద్యార్థులకు మధ్యాహ్న భోజన పథకం అమలు చేయనున్నారు. అలాగే 57 పాలిటెక్నిక్ కాలేజీలను అడ్వాన్స్డ్ టెక్నాలజీ సెంటర్లుగా అభివృద్ధి చేయనున్నారు.
మహిళల కోసం మహాలక్ష్మి పథకం, రూ.500 గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ పథకం కొనసాగుతుండగా, గృహజ్యోతి పథకం ద్వారా ఉచిత విద్యుత్ అందిస్తున్నారు. చేయూత పథకం కింద కొత్తగా 2 లక్షల పెన్షన్లు మంజూరు చేయనున్నారు.
వ్యవసాయ రంగానికి రూ.23,179 కోట్లు కేటాయించారు. రైతు భరోసా కింద ఎకరాకు సంవత్సరానికి రూ.12,000 సహాయం, సన్నవడ్లకు క్వింటాకు రూ.500 బోనస్ ఇవ్వనున్నారు.
వైద్య రంగానికి రూ.13,679 కోట్లు, విద్యా రంగానికి రూ.26,674 కోట్లు కేటాయించారు. కొత్త మెడికల్ కాలేజీలు, ఆసుపత్రుల విస్తరణకు ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేశారు.
మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధిలో భాగంగా రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్, ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ ప్రాజెక్ట్, మూసీ నది పునరుద్ధరణకు నిధులు కేటాయించారు. అలాగే గోదావరి పుష్కరాల నిర్వహణకు రూ.500 కోట్లు కేటాయించారు.
ఈ బడ్జెట్ రాష్ట్ర సమగ్రాభివృద్ధికి దిశానిర్దేశం చేస్తుందని ప్రభుత్వం పేర్కొంది.

The Telangana government has presented a ₹3,24,234 crore budget for the financial year 2026-27, focusing on welfare schemes, employment generation, education, and infrastructure development.
The budget received approval in the Cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister. It was later presented in the Assembly by the Deputy Chief Minister and in the Legislative Council.
A major highlight of the budget is the ‘Indiramma Family Life Insurance’ scheme, which aims to cover 1.15 crore families with ₹5 lakh insurance per family.
In the education sector, the government announced a breakfast scheme for students from pre-primary to intermediate levels and a midday meal scheme for intermediate students. Additionally, 57 polytechnic colleges will be upgraded into Advanced Technology Centres.
Welfare schemes such as Mahalakshmi free bus travel for women, ₹500 gas cylinder scheme, and Gruha Jyothi free electricity continue to benefit lakhs of families. Two lakh new pensions have been proposed under the Cheyutha scheme.
The government allocated ₹23,179 crore for agriculture, including ₹12,000 annual assistance per acre under Rythu Bharosa and ₹500 bonus per quintal for fine paddy.
Healthcare received ₹13,679 crore, while education was allocated ₹26,674 crore. Plans include new medical colleges and expansion of hospital infrastructure.
Infrastructure projects such as the Regional Ring Road, Future City, and Musi River rejuvenation have been prioritized. The government also allocated ₹500 crore for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu.
