హైదరాబాద్లో జరగనున్న ఎఫ్ఐహెచ్ హాకీ వరల్డ్ కప్ క్వాలిఫయర్స్ నేపథ్యంలో నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు వాకిటి శ్రీహరి, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, ఎంపీ అనిల్ కుమార్ యాదవ్, తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ క్రీడా సలహాదారు ఏపీజీ జితేందర్ రెడ్డి, పీఏసీ చైర్మన్ గాంధీ ఆరెకపూడి, తెలంగాణ స్పోర్ట్స్ అథారిటీ చైర్మన్ శివసేన రెడ్డి తదితర ప్రతినిధులు హాజరయ్యారు.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended a programme organised in connection with the upcoming FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers in Hyderabad. Ministers Vakiti Srihari and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, Telangana government sports advisor APG Jithender Reddy, PAC Chairman Gandhi Arekapudi and Telangana Sports Authority Chairman Shiva Sena Reddy, along with other representatives, were present at the event.
ఈ సందర్భంగా రాష్ట్రంలో క్రీడలకు మౌలిక వసతులు మరింతగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు. అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి పోటీలను నిర్వహించడం ద్వారా యువ క్రీడాకారులకు ప్రోత్సాహం లభిస్తుందని చెప్పారు. హైదరాబాద్లోని జీఎంసీ బాలయోగి హాకీ గ్రౌండ్లో జరగనున్న ఈ టోర్నమెంట్ ద్వారా రాష్ట్రానికి అంతర్జాతీయ గుర్తింపు మరింత పెరుగుతుందని తెలిపారు.
On the occasion, he said the government is committed to strengthening sports infrastructure in the state. Hosting international-level tournaments will encourage young athletes and provide them with greater exposure. The tournament to be held at the GMC Balayogi Hockey Ground in Hyderabad is expected to enhance the state’s international sporting recognition.
అంతర్జాతీయ హాకీ సమాఖ్య, హాకీ ఇండియా సహకారంతో నిర్వహించనున్న ఈ పోటీలను విజయవంతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అవసరమైన అన్ని ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తోందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా రాష్ట్రంలో క్రీడల అభివృద్ధికి కొత్త ఉత్సాహం లభిస్తుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
Officials said the state government is making all necessary arrangements to successfully host the tournament in collaboration with the International Hockey Federation and Hockey India. The event is expected to bring renewed momentum to sports development in Telangana.
